A Hilary Hudson and a Regina Conners is calling my neighbors..  telling them that they are a Debt collection agency...and I owe a Debt and haven't paid my bills...
they have broke a privacy act law
and i'm seeking legal advice to start a class action lawsuit...

The Do Not Call List dose not applied to these people because they are not trying to sell anything or get your opinion about anything.after 5 days of receiving the first phone call from a creditor you have to get a piece of mail stating why they are calling if you don't receive this mail they are disregarding federal laws and no longer have the upper hand i currently have my attorney chasing after these people and it is amazing all the restrictions they have to obey and they brake them all the time because we the people not now our right. I think this company is shady and the people that work for it are a joke. The ones I have dealt with, West McDonald and Carmen Bradshaw are rude and act like you know not a thing about laws. Ever heard of the internet, [***]???? You can find any law out there as it applies to consumer law. I settled with this company, and then they called to change the settlement to a lower amount after the BBB contacted them. I also file a complaint with the FTC and the AG. I have instructed the bank I used to work for to dishonor any check other than the three agreed to pay off debt. First time any other amount goes through, I will dispute and cancel the other payments. Then I will get lawyer relative, well know in area, to take case. So just go ahead and try some BS my friend.

THIS NUMBER IS FRAUDULANT-- if they call you again, please report it to the police.  They called my brother and tried to get his bank account number-- for a loan he already paid.  They claimed to be a collection agency for Trustmark, but they gave a fax number of 901-435-4854--- which is a private fax, not a company fax and the fax is located in Memphis.  He cancelled his card and put a fraud alert on his account.  He asked for a receipt for his unpaid bill and they would not fax him anything--- or put anyting in writing.  They didn't know anything about him.  They contacted my mom and she gave my brother their number-- they tried to squeeze her for info, too.  They would not give the company name but did give the names of Tracey Howard and Kim Jones which I am sure are fake.  

I work for a law firm and do collections all the time.  A legitimate company would be happy to fax you supporting documentation, give you the company name and any other info you wanted to verify.  They would know everything they need to know about you and wouldn't have to "fish".  I hate seeing people get ripped off, please don't fall for this.  I am going to look into it some more and then I might contact the police.

They actually called looking for my father. The man was relatively nice , but then again I was relatively cooperative seeing as how I haven't heard from him in over a year and a half. So ... Stupidly , I gave them my aunt and uncles phone number thinkin maybe they could provide a little more info. on how to get ahold of him.

This number has been calling and not leaving messages for days.  When they connected with me live, they asked for the name of a person who does not live here.  Although I asked several times, the caller would not provide the name of the company that she represented.  Then she hung up on me.

I can't believe these folks...who are they to "bother" me to harrass my neighbor to pay their bills...I don't even want to know my neighbor isn't paying their bills..they don't know my personal business, I don't want to know theirs...just because someone owes money, doesn't mean let the neighbors know it. If this is legal, it shouldn't be...and if it is legal, it isn't ethical. Don't get me wrong..folks should pay their bills..go knock on their door!! Leave me out of it. If anyone has an idea for recourse on this matter. I'm all ears!!

I received a msg call to a neighbors house that I do not even associate with from this number.  How did they get it pull a address and call a close by neighbor.   Then when I called to find out who they were they would not provide me information even after I gave my name.  Other then the Regional Adjusters.  They proceeded to ask for my last 4 digits of my SS.  Are they mad, why would I even consider giving that kind of info over the phone to an unknown.  I told them they must be trying to steal identity he said no need to know who I am talking to. Get real he wouldn't even tell me who he represents.  So I see from the posting student loan collections?  Yes I owe, but you know what I think there has to be a law against rude collectors with bad practices.  any lawyer out there should set up a class action and would win just from these blogs

They started calling me last Sat. at 8am and left one message repeating over and over again that this is a very important business call.  I did not call them back b/c I am not in default or late on anything!  They will not leave a message and just keep calling over and over and over again.

This number called me every ten minutes in the morning as I was getting ready for work.  when I answered the first time they asked for someone i didn't know, i figured wrong number, but they kept calling.  i didn't answer, but after five more calls, I hit redial and asked to be removed from the list.  the lady asked for the name of the person they asked for.  i told her i didn't know b/c i had never heard of the person they were looking for.  she was very rude and told me i had to write down the name of the person they were asking for before she could take me off the list.  i got a little rude back to her and told her i expected my number to be removed from the list immediately or i would contact a legal representative.  they have not called since.
