Got a call from them today.  As soon as I answered they immediately began asking for private info.  I politely informed them that I did not know who they were and refused to give out anything.  The person on the other end refused to state his purpose for calling so I hung up on him.

They called 3 times on April 14th 2009 at 9;30, 9:41 and 9:45 AM. These were missed calls but showed up on my caller ID. I called back twice and was told they were with the Regional Adjustment Bureau.

They did not seem to have a record of calling my number when I told them
I was on the Do Not Call List. I asked what kind of a business they were and then was hung up on twice without any further words. Very Rude!

They keep calling my wife. I've sent out e-mails to everyone I can think of warning them.

Has anyone had luck with reporting them to the Police, or any other type of Agency?

Calling mutiple times varying hours, upsetting my elderly mother of 81 years of age. They will not identify themselves. I do not live with my Mother.

These people called my neighbor and left a message with him for me to call. When I called them, the girl was very rude and I ask her why would they call my neighbor when its an issue with me not him. She proceeded to tell me that since he took the message they broke no laws, I explain to her that my neighbor should never be called for something that does not relate to him. she got nasty and rude and told me to get my checkbook out and make a payment, I told her no that since she is going to be rude I will do the same and I hang up on her.

They called my number this morning and actually asked for my husband by name and when i said he wasnt home can i take a message she replied with " i was wondering if you could get a message to apt 502 its very important that they call me back and your located near them" I asked what her name was she told me it was dani thomas. First off how in the world can a collection agency know from my number that i live near that apartment. Secondly how can they call people and ask them to relay messages to complete strangers. It was just a very strange phone call the first ive recieved from that company and hopefully the last.

they called our cell phone anh landline? do not pick up!!   they are very rude!!  we are reporting them to the local police  and they THREND MY CHILD TO SAY SOMETHING THAT IS NOT TRUE

They call here on a reguler basis. I dont awnser unknown or blocked calls every. I do try to call them back. The lady I talk to was very polite. I know that when they get on the phone with my daughter they scare her half to death with threats, So she is seeing a lawyer on Tuesday.

I have been dealing with this company for over a year now. my student loans went into default and i started up a repayment program with these people. I verified them through Texas Guarantee. The program was supposed to be for 9 months and when that time was up they would remove my default status and i would be able to go back to school and re-borrow. Well.....it's been up for almost 6 months and I never missed a payment, never late. I fulfilled my side of the agreement but they did not. I am unable to reborrow and go back to school until i pay back my loans in full. they are a joke. they just tell you what you want to hear so they get what they want.

I get calls from RAB every day on my home phone, from the time I wake up til the time I go to bed at night. My answering machine picks up on 3rd ring, but they have always hung up a half second before the answering machine picks up.  I know of no reason why they should call me.  The first few times they called I answered but there was never anyone there, even though I waited a few seconds.  They have never left a message.  I found out who they are through this website, for which I am most grateful.  I do intend to file a complaint today with my AG and the AG of the State they are in, as well as the security dept of my phone company and the BBB here and there.  They are low lifes and someone needs to serve them some justice.

They just called me and i didnt answer the phone. They left a message saying "Please call us back its urgent". Whats funny is its urgent to them and not me, LOL!!!! I have a program on my cell so i can put any # in a list to automatically reject calls. So i will never receive a call from them again, LOL, i love it!!!!

This number 800-829-7204 calls my house several times a day. It just rings, maybe once, before hanging up!!! I am so sick of it that I finally called them and after sitting on hold got the rudest person who wouldn't tell me the name of the company. Said I needed to give her my name and phone number first....told her she is the one calling my house every day and I am not giving her anything. She told me she isn't helping me and hung up. I am sure the calls will persist and I will continue to ignore them. After reading all these messages I know what they are bogus and not after me.

Called my sig other at WORK?!?  Left a msg, saying he would know who 'she' was - what the hell?  Apparently calls our house when no one is at home and leaves no msg (according to our phone).  Bizarre.

If it is indeed a collection agency, there are laws that govern 3rd party agencies, for example you can report them for abuse ie language and excessive calling. See Fair Debt Collection Act for your rights as a consumer against 3rd party agencies.

I see your rights under Fair Debt Collection Act for 3rd party agencies. They are only allowed to call specific # of times and from 8am till 9pm in your time zone. If they violate the act then you can complain and send documentation to I believe your state Aty General. They are violating the law.

Rec'ed a call from 800-829-7204 @3:13, 28Oct09. Did not answer the call. Caller did not leave a message. I do not owe anyone any money that is past due.

I have been getting calls from 800-829-7204.  They ask me if I have a brother named Fred and that he needs my help and then ask for money.  They won't tell me who they are or what company they work for or where they are at.  When I told them to stand by and I will give them my attorney's name and number and that all further contact will go through him, they cussed me out and hung up.  

I called the number back and was put on hold.  At no time was the company identified.  When the woman answered I asked her what company did this number belong too.  She said unless I gave  my contact information she would not tell me anything.

I do not know who they are but they are rude and there's no way I would trust them.

The folks who would call and think they're randomly getting info out of me must have eaten some portion of the south end of a northbound menstruating skunk.  I got nothing for them now or ever.  They can put that in their crack pipe and smoke it.

11/06/09,Called 7x in an half hour,i let it ring and  cut them off. The seventh time i answered and as several x before they wanted to speak with "Kristen" and there is no one by that name here! After several choice words she hung up on me.

This Person called me harassing me for my checking account info. Yeah, NO.

Weird!!!
