This person calms to be a Nancy Miller and calls leaving a message I tried several time to reach you  and when you do pick up there is no one there at the other end. You can say Hello five time and there is no one there.

They call my number for someone with the same last name, and they call several times a day.  I called them and told them to stop calling me and someone said they would take my number off the list and as I was trying to say something else they then quickly hung up.  It didn't seem like I should trust them to do it, so I immediately called back, and asked for amanager.  I when then treated extremely bad because I refused to give them my number (like they don't have caller ID!).  I only wanted to speak to a manger!  He then proceeded threaten me that (and I quote) "if you don't give me the number then we'll just keep calling you on that number anyway and I am going to hang up" - I said to him that's how they teach you to treat customers?!?!?  And then he hung up!!  Next, I'm writing a complaint letter to the BBB!

very strange.. got two calls to my mobile  on Labor day, one at 3:11pm and one at 8:17pm.
I have impeccable credit and nothing in collection to my knowledge.
I answered the second call and got a recording  of soft spoken woman saying she was nancy miller of ... (sounded like BOF to me but more likely the DRS) and to call them back as it was urgent they talk to me.  then it disconnected.  I googled the number and found this thread

It makes no difference if they are dialing your number by mistake or you actually owe money, you can collect up to $1,000 by fed. law plus any actual damage under federal law (the Fair Debt. Collection Practices Act).

Do Not Call list does not apply to collection companies.

Other sites have reported this as Debt Recovery Solutions (DRS), a debt collection company.  If you have a collection company harassing you with repeated calls (especially with an automated dialer), failing to identify themselves, or at odd times of the day, etc., they are in violation of the Fair Debt. Collection Practices Act.

I stayed on hold for 30 minutes for them to tell me they dialed the wrong number. WHAT THE [***]

We get a call at least once a day from this firm... they leave the same message "Hi, this is Nancy Miller from DRS (always mumbles the name of the firm)...  I've been trying to reach for a while, but  we keep missing each other, so please give me a call at 1-800-807-4106."  I will not be call her back based on the posts on this website (and others).  Whatever you do... don't give them the time of day.  I'd report them, but what good will it do... they already have 280 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website and an "F" grade from the BBB regarding their practice of trying to collect debts from persons who are not debtors.  Great people all around.

I have had my current phone number since October 1, 2009. Since obtaining this number, I have repeatedly received phone calls from this place called Dr.'s Technology (1-800-851-9631.) They call looking for someone who does not live here or that I even know. I am assuming the person they are looking for is someone who used to have my number. I have repeatedly called them back to tell them this fact, and have requested them to remove my number and stop calling. Being told each time that they will remove the number, I STILL get their calls. Not to mention, when I do answer their call, they hang up! I am always told it will take the system about 24 hours to recognize the deletion of my number, yet, I still get the calls!!
I had enough of this come this morning when it happened again. This time, I called back, demanded the number be removed AGAIN. They proceeded to explain the 24 hour window, and I explained this was not acceptable to me this time for a response, as I have tried this already and they fail to accommodate my request. They proceeded to tell me they have no record in their system of this! I was very calm and professional about my gripe, trying to explain why I was not accepting their bs this time..I was placed on hold several times while I was talking, and was repeatedly cut off every time I attempted to speak. I finally hung up to simply call back and get a supervisor's name and their address. First, since I did not have an account with them, then that was not possible. Second, they blatantly informed me that I had nothing to complain about as they were addressing the issue of removing my name. Though I was trying to explain to them I understand that, but my complaint is that it never gets done! I then stated that my complaint has now led to the actions and behavior I have just received from the phone workers. Needless to say, I was finally connected with a supervisor on the phone...only to receive the SAME treatment from her!!! Then I let loose on her, so she put me on hold!! These people need to be reported to the Better Business Bureau, or something. Can anyone offer me a route to go?

let me know if you do! We should get a class action suit going with all the complaints on here!! I would be very willing to assist in this adventure, I have had enough also! Just posted my gripe this morning!

Got a call from them today. If they call and we speak I'm going to tell them to send a bill to me in the mail (that way they will be breaking a federal law). Thanks so much for the address!

I've been getting calls from this # for quite a while and I'm usually at work when they call.Some girl named Nancy leaves a message about wanting to talk to me and leaves a different # to call her back.I haven't done that so far.I use my cell primarily and my landline phones ringers on turned off so I don't know when they call even if I'm home.Today is Sunday and they just called again a little while ago.I think I'll just ignore the calls and maybe they will eventually stop calling.

Automated message from Nancy Miller at DRS rather sweetly requesting a callback from a person who is no longer employed here.

D.R.S  1800 851 9631 is harassing me about someone named NicoleConwy. I am not that person nor do I know anyone such named. i've explained to these people at D.R.S. that I have no idea who they are talking about but the calls continue. I'm contacting FDCPA and the FBI. I'm tired and fed up.

Tell your parents.  You also can block this number from calling your cell phone.  If you do not know how to do this, then you can go to your local cell phone store, and they can set it up for you.  Also, next time they call, answer the phone and tell them who you are, what your age is, and if they continue to call and harass you that you will have your parents call the FCC and DA to file a formal complaint that they are harassing you - a minor.
