nelson watson & associates - a collection company with a bad reputation. They called me looking for my parents and claim they did not pay a bill 10 years ago.

They want money over the phone for a debt 9 years old. Do they really think I will give money over the phone just to get them to stop calling? They won't give out there info but want money.Do not pay these people or your identity will be stolen.

They are trying to collect on a debt that I have attempted to dispute in the past with multiple collection agencies. They are just next in a line of companies trying to collect on money that nobody has ever been able to prove that I owe.

Automated voice message tells me there  is an important and URGENT reson for the call and i wait only to hear an "off the hook" tone? these people need to be sued for harassement.

rcvd message from this number today..message left no name , no reason or anything. it also said to refer to a file number but it left none. when i called it back all i got was an answering machine with no names or anything. i can only assume it is a collection agency that i have no business with.

same as other posts.. collection agency trying to collect on an invalid debt, it's a scam, they are fishing and named a credit card company I have never had or dealt with in hopes I would think it was from years ago and be frightened by their scare tactics and pay.  I caught them and told them I haven't had a credit card in 15 years.  The girl was quiet and started trying to make up information then tried to fish for my personal information such as SS#, etc.  Identity fraud, be very careful!

Two low-lifes on the same order of Nelson and Watson tried to pull the same crap on an elderly family member last year on time-barred debts he did not owe. He sent them both Cease and Desist letters VIA Certified Mail and DEMANDED that they stop harassing him, or he would file complaints against them (and well as with their attorneys' State Bar Associations), with our State's Attorney General's Office and the FTC. That was a year ago, and he hadn't heard anything back from either of them...until this past Friday. One of them sent him a letter and asked him to complete the bottom section of it and return it to them "if he did not want information about 'HIS ACCOUNT' shared with third parties".

I snatched the letter out of his hand. "You do NOT have "an account" with these people", I told my brother-in-law, "And if you send it back to them, you are ACKNOWLEDGING that you do". He immediately fed it through his shredder.

They are constantly calling me once a week.  I have repeatedly told them that the person they are looking for doesn't have this cell phone number any longer.  They told me they would take my number off.  Which they obviously haven't done.

called to collect a debt that has been paid for over 4 years i have paperwork to prove when was paid.  i have sent them the info twice and called the company they are suppose to be collecting for.  the company said they didn't have anything in collections for me and these people were never hired by them or that they had not sold it out to them and for me not correspond with them.

Left a message with no company name, just a phone number to call back. When I called, it was an answering machine with no company name, just leave your information. I did not. An legal company would identify themselves and reason for the call. They said to call 1-800-868-6418

This caller calls every week, I do not answer unknown calls but when I searched google with the number it came up with this Nelson Watson and Assoc. and also this website to complain. What I don't understand is, if we all know this is a scam, why hasn't the phone company done something about them? Like disconnect their services!!

The days when government agencies took care of illegal activities like what these companies do, are way long gone... very sad. Government today either don't care about propecting regular people of these scumbags, or is trying to get part of your income in increasing property taxes, etc. The bottom line is that we are on our own... sad but true. Anybody can do whatever wrong doing they want, because they know nothing is going to happen to them.

this company called a wrong number. the girl gave lip when i told her so. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was dangled by what sounded like the same girl, who after a drag out gave the mini miranda warning and hung up. they are breaking laws here people, my company has been sued and lost for less.

4 years is staute of limits in texas (they cant sue) 7 years and they cant report to credit. send them a "cease & dessist all communications" letter via CERTIFIED MAIL. if they call you after you get the reciept, sue them.

per many recent court rulings & decisions (in which people in your case have won) all communications, and that includes generic messages must include the "mini miranda"

These people are crackheads.  They leave the automated "imperative" message with one name, then in the same message mention another name entirely.  They call from 9, 1-800 868-6401, and want a return call to 1-800 868-6418.  Sometimes they leave messages without any names at all.  Somehow, they ended up with my work number (my home number is clearly present on my credit report, but no calls there).  Just takes a second to hit "delete".  I can do that all day.  I really don't care.  [***] bottom feeders.

Although I am on the National Do Not Call list I have been getting repeated calls from this number on a daily bases. These calls are unrelated to my bills, have nothing to do with me and the party that this person is attempting to call has not resided with me for as long as 18 years. I have repeatedly told them that to no avail because they now expect me to give them the parties other phone number. First of all I am not their employee nor am I beholding to these people to have to give them any forwarding phone number. They have called several times a day, in the middle of the night at least three times, and whenever I do not answer they leave messages stating that the call is of an urgent nature but they want me to call them back.  
Whenever I do answer I get badgered by someone on the other side of the phone simply stating that in order to have them stop calling me I need to give them some other number which I don't have anyway. I explain I don't speak to the party they are attempting to contact however when they call they call which is all true. I have repeatedly told them to please stop their called beings their calls are unrelated to me and they have never stopped. This has been going on for nearly five or more years now and I truly want it to stop.

Annoying calls all the time, I've never answered or spoken to them, but after what I've read here I wouldn't want to.
