Repeated calls from this number as often as 3 times a day 3 to 5 days a week stating it is an urgent matter that pertains only to "XXXXX" (there is supposed to be a name inserted here but what I get is a loud noise) and requesting a call back, I am also getting mail from this group trying to collect on a disputed debt (have been disputing for over 10 years to no avail as each time I respond the debt gets sold to another company and has ended up here)...have sent certified letters stating such and the calls are finally tapering off to once a week...also sending letters stating I have other debts with credit card agencies although I don't and haven't ever had a credit card with the companies they are stating

I've been getting the same type calls asking for my adult son. I've told them he doesn't live here and refused to give them his unlisted phone number. I asked for the calleer's name and he said is is Ken Latiano and that he is calling from Boston.

I get a call from these people every other day. I never answer the phone and finally they left a message. I do not give my cell phone number out to anybody. They are looking for a Michele Atchinson. I want them to stop. I have put a ring type of silent from this number but then it beeps for a missed call. Is there anyway of totally blocking them?

out of area 1 800 868-6418  didn't answer. i know it is from a debt harasser about a debt that has been sold and is way over four years old!!!!!!!!!!

They are continually calling, but never leave a message. Any attorneys reading these posts? How about a class action harassment law suit? These credit [***] think that they can get away with whatever they want and it has gone on too far!

Left a message at my parents house - I haven't lived at home for close to 17 years and my parents moved to another state 10 years ago.  I called it back and keep getting fast busy.

I keep getting phone calls from a collection agency company on my cell phone. I don't even know how they got my number. I just let it go to vmail. The message I get is the same as reported by others here. I wish I could block their calls!

800-868-6418 has hounded me for years. They will not identify themselves. If you call the number you get someone who asks your SS number so they can locate your file. What is wrong with using my name? Often I get an answering machine, but it doesn't identify the owner. Isn't there something that can be done to stop the harrassment?

With all due respect to MJ, do you really believe the attorney general's office is going to do anything? How about if we all start sending our messages to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission?

Got about half a dozen automatic computer voicemails stating it was imperative that I call back at this number, but gave no other reason why.  Smells like a scam.

Luckily, I've never been home when they've called. I just get a robotic voice message saying that it is "imperative" that I call them back. The message uses my full name, like from my driver's license or something. I rarely put any bills in that name. I don't know what they want, and until an actual person calls me, I am going to continue to ignore it.

Got a call from these guys this evening trying to collect on an account that I never had and if I had it was from 1997.  They went on to tell me that they could collect on this in the state of Ohio for 15 years.  That is total [***] and the guy knew it then when I tried to ask them some questions he stated I was breaking up. What a joke!!!  There is a 6 year statute of limitations in the state of Ohio to collect on old debts. These [***] need to be reported to the FTC and State Attorney Generals office if you get a call or letter reporting fraudlent and deceptive collection practices. I recorded the phone call of the harrassing comments and plan to follow up with my U.S. Congressman as I have before. It works! They also told me several times that the name of their company was Nelson, Watts, & Associates.  What is up with that???

This bottom feeder organization has a terrible reputation for purchasing old, mostly worthless debts, then manufacturing documents that appear to make them legal. Owner, David L. Paris is NOT to be trusted, nor is anything that comes out of their organization under the names of NorthStar and Zenith Acquisitions.

does anyone have an address for them.  they started calling my work today and not a person but a recording stating that it is urgent I call them back so I got online to see who this is and found this website about these folks.  I need an address to send them a certified letter.

I got the name of these people from a post. Googled their name. Got their address, toll free phone number, their fax number, and their web address.

Notice, they have another toll free number: 1-800-388-1190. These scumbags are headquartered in Haverhill, MA 01830.

These guys have been calling my house for weeks now and leaving the automated "urgent" message for some guy named Douglas Hicks. Finally I bit the bullet and called the number they left (800-868-6418) and told the guy who answered that there is no Douglas Hicks here and please take our number off their list. He said he would, so we'll see what happens. When I punched that number into google I found this page. They sound like a bunch of low-life scammers, glad I didn't fall for anything stupid.
