I know nothing of his debt and told them if they were legit they would have the address because it hasn't changed... Yet they keep on calling and calling and calling. Ignore these calls. The best thing that could happen is if you went to court and the Judge will fine them.

    Not this number, but another called me because my name was put down as a reference phone number for a loan. The guy said he was a "lawyer". Found out he was impersonating to be a lawyer. Beware.

    Thanks very much for your suggestion Nelson Watson just called here looking for one of my relatives and I told them my relative didn't live here and I would call the attorney general and they said they would take our number off the list.  Thanks again.

    You people have positively NO REGARD for the FDCPA!!!!!!!One of jerks contacted my mother,whom I never gave as any kind of reference,and was extremely hateful and told her that I owed on a payday loan from 8 years ago(which I paid).First of all I have a job and pay my bills!! I recievded nothing in the mail EVER and if they could find my mothers phone number I'm sure they could find my address!!! You low life scum lords continued to harrass me,make threats and called me a deadbeat over the phone and told me i owed this money without sending me any proof what so ever!!!Well,I recorded it all! So did my mom and we both found an attorney.The sol in my state is 6 years which if the collectors that were supposedly trained all about the FDCPA they wouldn't have made the many,many violations that they made!I collected bills back in the 90's and WE NEVER would have dreamed talking to people like that,nor were we criminals like you crap bags!!!! THERE IS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR GARBAGE LIKE YOU PEOPLE!!!!! But at least until then you're gettin your [***] sued off and you will be paying my attorney,court cost,and 2,000.Hope you basturds die in a firey car crash!!!!!

    I like to see these [***] say the awful things they say to people in person,face to face.They wouldn't  have the balls.They are just pathetic cowards hideing behind a few miles and a phone.What a sad pathetic little existance.One day this place will be shut down and all of these cowards will no longer be employed,and they will be behind on their bills.I hope that they are treated the same way they treated everyone else.

    I emailed NWA to notify them they were calling us repeatedly (I never answered call as I didn't recognize name/number and no messages ever left) for the last few weeks in error as we have no bills, however, I let them know we had a family member living with us over a year that they may be calling about.  They responded almost IMMEDIATELY and stated they would remove our #'s (as they were calling BOTH of our lines - home & work).  If they call again, though, I will definitely repost.  Their promptness was appreciated!

    Maybe instead of making laws so people can dodge their responsibilities,,people could pay their bills!! That's quite a concept isn't it!;

    I'm not sure you are literate, so this may be falling on deaf ears ---- we always suggest people pay their debts.  However, we also suggest that collectors operate within the parameters of the law.  Accordingly, we suggest that consumers get a validation of the debt if they have an questions regarding ownership.

    You talk as if consumer protection is some strange new trend. Please review what Congress was thinking in the three years of development before the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act became law 35 years ago. Note that the Act's supporters were far more worried about how your dirty debt collector pals love to "dodge their responsibilities".

    Taxes are taken out of paychecks to pay for all sorts of bills that have been passed by congress.

    Frustrated
    These people have called and start asking a lot of questions before they even identify themselves.  They ask for your SS# address date of birth etc.  We tell them we have been victims of identity fraud and refuse to give out such information.  We have requested to receive a letter of why they are calling. Then they go back to asking the same information.  If they are a collection company I guarantee you they have the mailing address if they have a phone number. Waiting to see if we receive a letter.
