This number will not stop calling my home.  They leave automated voice messaged,constantly.

I have a debt from 2003 that I would like to pay, but I keep getting calls from these people and am thinking I should not pay them.  I would like to purchase a home and am trying to get my finances in order, however, paying this comapny seems stupid at this point.  If I pay this company will it improve my credit?  Any advice?

These people have been harrassing me and I am not sure I even owe the debt. I don't recall it. I told them to send me information from the original creditor and I recieved nothing!

I have been recieving calls from this number for month: The are looking for victoria gibson. I guess they are looking for the previous owner of my phone number.
I've read it's a collection agency: perhaps they should research a little bit more their files@!!!

They call all the time, leaving imperative  messages.  I don't even know how they got my number. I just let it go to vmail. The message I get is the same as reported by others here. I wish I could block their calls /have them to stop calling me. I don't owe anyone.! They never identify themselves orstate the nature of their call.

For four years now this company has called requesting that Kevin D. Fletcher needs to call them regarding an important matter. The only problem is that Kevin doesn't live here nor has he ever lived here. I don't even know who this person is. I've informed them of this on several occations. I have even demanded that they remove my number and to stop calling me. I'm not sure who I need to contact, but I would like to hang these people by their short hairs. Can anyone help me with some information to get them to stop calling.

Nice work there.  These guys shouldn't just be kicked in their butts, they should be thrown in prison.

Send them this letter VIA Certified Mail (with return receipt requested). If they continue to call you after you have received proof that they have received it, they can face fines of up to $1,000 PER violation.

Yes, there is a way to block them. You can do a search for telephone blocking. You'll get several companies that sale equipment that allow you to block unwanted calls - usually it cost about $99 or more. Good luck dear.

Called 3 times today.  About a Verison diconect for bad service. I'm not paying for bad service. Verison rep called, and told us we did not have to pay for the disconect.  But being verison.... they turned it over to a collection company anyway.  Long story short, its been a year now with no phone calls, untill today with the 800-868-6418.   Also watch out for number 978.469.9046.  I'm still not going to pay.  Never will.   They will get a letter just like all the rest got.   P.S Verison got sued by the Goverment for just this typ of contract dealings.  Shame on both companys.

These pest have been calling at least once a week for the past 4 weeks now.  The have even tried calling from this number 800-868-6401. I get an electronic voice asking that I hold for an important message. There is nothing but dead air and I have no outstanding debts. Thank you all for posting to this site!  I'll continue to ignore this number.

I recieve a call weekly "It is imperitive that you call this number immediately."  1/800/868/6418.  Of course, I have had no idea who this is or what it is about, so I have ignored it.  Today, a call was recieved at my home, and the woman was a bit pushy, asking for personal information and a work phone number.  Of course, it was not given.  Finally, she said I needed to call "Mickey" immediately @ Nelson-Watson, 1/800/388/1190.  I looked it up on the computer, and lo and behold, here I am.  I have a very common name, and often get calls regarding someone else's debts.  I finally quit calling back all calls like this, and have instructed everyone in my home NOT to give ANY information to anyone who calls.  After reading all this, I will send a Cease and Dissist letter today.  Thanks.  It's always good to know you aren't the only one this happens to!

They called my house last night & this morning and left one of those vague messages for my son. No company name, no acct. #, no reason, just "imperative that you call us back" recording. I called them back and told them the person they were calling about doesn't live here. She kept asking me if he was my son. I asked what this is about and of course she couldn't share that info with me. She said he left my # as a contact, which is impossible because we moved and we have a new # and he never lived with us at this address. So I told her it was none of their business if I was related to the person, but the # is a wrong # and they better not call here again. I spoke very forceful and let her know that I didn't need to explain myself. These people are scum and need to be treated as such. If they call again, I will pursue legal action immediately and be all over them.

I have also gotten these calls and I just called them back after googling them and simply told them that I had no contact information for that person , and althought they were quite rude to me they agreed, I hope , to stop calling our number. Hope this works!

Keep calling & asking for person which doesn't even live @ this house

Received a call that said to call this number, when I did they new my name right from the start. First a guy named Cory started the conversation, then he asked me to hold, then a Josh (who said he was a supervisor) got on line for what reason I have no clue as Cory didnt get any further than who each of us was. Josh was hostile right from the get go, from a bill dated back in 2005...I asked him to send me a bill he said they already had and was demanding a email or fax # I stated I need to see the bill to mail it he replied they dont mail them and since I didnt get the first bill 9/5/08 that is the reason, i told him I dont give out email and I dont have fax and if he couldnt mail me something then he wouldnt get paid. and for him to send it back to the original person I supposedly incured the bill with, ans hung up. Today I will send a ceertified cease and dissist letter.
