I agreed to settle my debt with them, calling them in Feb to say it would be in the next couple of weeks. We agreed on an amount ....and guess what? When I call them to say what day the could expect the check, they say they can "no longer honor the agreement because that was Feb that we discussed it and now its March". Are they insane? Now they will get nothing!

Just because a bill was turned over to a collection agency does NOT MEAN it's a legitimate bill or that it's even yours.  MORON!

Hey, why would you call someone a bad person if they don't pay their bills, yet you state about the economic situation, have you ever thought that some people have lost their jobs during these times? And guess what, even if you lost your job the bill collector is still working, so you will forever receive the calls, DA

I just got a phone call yesterday from this number and I know I do NOT owe money. I'm rather rich and don't like owing money.  Hence I do stuff that most people would consider dumb, but hey, I can afford it.

I pay for stuff in cash, like my homes, Condos, multiple cars, boats, motorcycles, etc.

I have my accountant pays my bills before their due!  When I (or he) opens an account I have him send them an amount equal to at least 3 months (or $2,400, which ever is bigger).

Yeah, I have some credit cards.  I have my personal assistant collect my receipts and send them to my accountant, who sends a check / wire transfer / electronic check weekly to the credit card company at least twice a month.

I was going to say why I do all of this, but honestly, neither you nor the public need to know.

Anyway, back to this phone number.  I got a call on my private cell phone.  It is the one I give out to close family and friends, as I answer it and my someone on my staff.  In my case, I didn't get to speak to someone and my interest lead my here.

So, Laura, don't say people getting a message from these people are deadbeats or a thief!  It sounds like this company is a law breaker and honestly, if they call again I'll now turn this over to my attorney and tell him he can have fun going after the company for whatever he can find either because of me or other people.

jan this man called from this no and said his name was dan van asking for a person that hasnt been living here for ovwer 16 yrs  i did look  this  no up and it isnt nothing BUT A SCAM THEY  NEE D TO GO BACK TO THERE OWN COUNTRY ......they have a list of numbers that they use  aND THEY ARE COMING OUT OF texas i have a list of them  that have called my phone  they even use  ddifferent names so be aware of these scam artist

Research this minority owned (Chinese) business, DRS, located in Farmers Branch, TX.  They are not legit, and harrass and terrorize innocent people.  So, do your research before you spout off about people who do not pay their bills.  Hope they call you.

They are a Chinese shady collection agency in Farmers Branch, TX  They even have a website. POS bottom feeders is all they are.  Sad excuse for Asian business practices.  They are living the stereotype pretty well it seems.

I received a call from 800-886-8088 ON MY CELL PHONE! How did they get my number? They told me I had a judgment against me and I told them to go to hell. The lady said, ok then, you own property in Texas so we will slap a judgement on your property! WHO are these people? How can I make it stop?

They are calling saying there is a claim against us.  They will say anything to get you to call them.  They are shysters.  Their contact info is below, everyone should give them a call just for kicks and just say their number is posted as a scam outfit. Ask if their refrigerator is running when they say "yes it is" tell them to go catch it. Or something like that...

I received the same type of phone call from this phone number asking for someone I have never heard of.  When I told them I didn't know anyone by that name they said oh I think you do.  Then i told them they had the wrong number they repeated my phone number with the incorrect area code. I said that no that was not the number they called and they hung up.  Now I'm worried as I repeated my correct phone number to them, although I'd think they already had known it.  
I just hope they don't call back.  But if they do, I will NOT be answering that's for sure

let's hope that you don't get sick or lose your job and find yourself unable to support your home and children and and pay your bills.  Some people are honest good people that have been hurt by the economy by banks that literally rob from hard working people.  The economy is this way because of the debt  YES, debt that the US has piled up with entitlements....and while we are on the subject of owing money how about the banks...wells fargo, aig, wachovia, bank of america that scammed people into creating debt by giving them mortgages they couldn't afford.  ANd lets talk about these banks that are using debt collectors and they themselves went and borrowed money from the govt. only to give themselves nice fat raises for a job NOT well done.   These banks were bailed out yet raised the interest rates and kept piling them on the consumer with late fees, over limit fees, atm fees, and all other fees.

Got a call this morning asking for a person who does not live here. When I answered and said this person does not live here and to stop calling, the man got very rude, I hung up.

lol DRS is not a scam.. people just do not want to pay their bills and think it magically will just "go away".. people just need to pay your bills.. its that simple..

I keep receiving phone calls all hours of the day.  I have answered the calls a few times to only be hung up on.  I wish these people would leave me alone.

These people are very rude people. They will ask questions that don't pertain to them. They're shysters do not take there calls.
