this 1-800-900-1380 number calls my cell phone several times a day, seven days a week, it's unknown, can't accept incoming calls, and if you do answer it's a computer saying they are a debt collection service, and if you are not the person whose name the computer says, to hang up immed.  if you hang up they continue to call daily seven days a week, from 8 a.m. until as late as 10 p.m.  no one is available if you stay on the line to tell them they are calling a wrong number.  as i am sitting here typing this, they just called again, asking for a person that is unknown to me, and i have had this cell number for several years.  i even say on my voice mail recording that calls that are blocked, or come unknown will not be answered, i figure if you don't want me to know who you are, you have no business being in touch with me, but of course this is ignored because it's a computer.

These people call me on a daily basis. Likely looking for the person who previously had the number because I have gotten quite a lot of other collections calls. I can't confirm this, as every single damn time I answer I get silence, click.

This number is calling my wife, who owes nothing, frequently. They call during international travels also when it isvery  expensive to get a call. These people are real trash and have no business calling her as she has her number on the DO NOT CALL list for telemarketers. Masquerading as a debt collector is a lie and a crime. These people are as phony as it gets. We owe nothing and do not have a new number.

These people called me 3x in one day and come to find out they are looking for my sister in law.  I keep telling them not to call but they do. Don't know how they get my number since my brother claims they never used my name for anything.  Gave them their home phone # so hopefully they will now leave me along.

I have been getting calls a few times per week from this number. I can never understand the name they are saying but it know its not me.  They are calling my cell phone and my number is unlisted and I have had it for 10 yrs.  I finally called them back today and demanded to know who I was speaking with and told them they have the wrong number and to stop calling my cell phone or I will report them to the attny general.  The woman hung up the phone.  They better stop calling..else there'll be hell to pay...

Just call back. Say that you are on a "Do not call list", that your phone number needs to be removed immediately from their system and that if they call again you will have to report them...it always works!!!

Guys, it's not a big deal. Your number probably got recycled at some point and they're looking for a different person. Don't get wound up over it, simply pick up, jot down the phone number down, then call their offices during business hours. Don't call upset, just stay calm, act pro., and explain the situation.

Understand that these low-income phone operators get thousands of callers, some that DO owe money but are belligerent. If you keep your cool, you'll save yourself a lot of stress (and phone calls) in the future.

You are so wrong . Just go ahead and enter contest or sweeps online and you'll find out real quick the things you do get delivered in the mail. Its not enough that you read thru the official rules of the contest. But you better learn to have everything in large type on monitor or u just might miss a check mark that u never checked or some statement in such small type you better get out the magnifing glass to read it. Yes readers digest and magazine subscriptions are notorious for this.

I keep getting this company calling me several times a week.  And they are not even calling for me, they are looking for my idiot brother who didn't pay his bill.  They are a bill collector trying to get him to pay his debt.  Everytime they call it's just a recording and I can't get a hold of a live person to tell them I am not the person they are looking for.  I have filed a complaint with the Do Not Call List but is there anything else I can do to make these people stop calling me?  It's getting really annoying since I'm not even the person they want.

I get real rude with them. If they're black I always use the "N" word for them. If female...well you can imagine if male, I comment on his wife. Gets em all the time.
