You're being called by a debt collector, most likely Penn Credit.   DNC does not apply to debt collectors.

They kept calling several times a day. wont answer and no message is left. If you do pick up, they want to press 1 to continue, yeah no I will not press 1, you kidding me. Called the number back since it is a legit company and told them to quit calling. They are calling for someone else I have no idea who they are. I bet they bought a list and bogus people to the numbers. So simply call them back and tell them to quit calling, lets hope this works

This is a phone number look-up site. No one here can "stop these calls". You, however, can. Invest in a call blocker, preferably one that enables you to block entire area codes.
Oh, and only legitimate telemarketers abide by the DNC list. Scammers just ignore it.

Calling my house phone and cell phone simultaneously for a week now.  The home phone connection is so short that their CID info is not captured by my equipment but the conjoined ring to both devices is so obvious that I use the data from my cell phone as evidence.  The CID caller name was displayed as "Phone Company" on my cell.  Really? Maybe next time it will say "Your Mom" in the hopes I will pick up.  IDIOTS!!!!

Not sure why I'm getting calls from this number. Says I owe $30.98 doesn't say for what. My credits at 800 don't understand why I'm getting this call. It's got to be a scam but I will be trying to call the number back. Tried calling tonight when they called me at 8:30 p.m. and it said to call back during business hours doesn't give a name of the company doesn't give the times there open. All I have is the caller ID. But I will call back on Monday and probably harass them like they're harassing me. Any reputable Collective would have left hours that they're open. This has to be a robocall with nobody in the office jerks.
    • Caller: Just a robocall but will harass them just like they do to other people.
    • Call type: Debt collector

They're trying to scam you, that's why you're getting these calls. Don't waste your time calling them back, it will just encourage them. Block and ignore their calls instead.

This number belongs to a "bottom feeder" by the name of Penn Credit. I'm afraid they are just your typical parasite feeding debt collector. They typically operate by harassing family members and neighbors.

Received call from this number at  11:15 a.m.  Caller said, "Hi, Grandma, this is your Grandson."  Said, what is your name?  He says, "Don't you remember me?"  Said No, actually I don't and hung up.  Called back immediately--blocked. I have no grandsons.

    Irritated
Called me over and over and over, finally leaving a message indicating that they're looking for my ex-husband (on behalf of American Express), that I divorced 30 years ago. I spoke with a polite woman the next time they called and told her that he has never lived here, NEVER had this phone number (landline) and that I divorced him 30 years ago. She hesitated, then asked if I have his contact information. I laughed out loud and told her that we are NOT in contact and haven't been for years. She told me she would remove my number from their files and make a note on the file. Six weeks later and they've started calling again, not leaving a message, but the number is the same. My guess is that they had his landline number and he has probably had that disconnected in favor of his cell phone, which they apparently do not have the number for. Even if I hated him, which I don't, I'd never make it easy for these vultures to harass him, especially since they continue to harass me after I took the time to explain the situation to them.

800Notes is not a messaging service. 800Notes does not send alerts to your callers when you post here, a bulletin board style of website with public access. You must direct your demands to the sources of your unwanted calls.

Yeah, okay, Mike. Making your demand here two weeks prior didn't work, either. The instruction above says to "report" your calls. That means to fellow readers, not the call source. Look around sometime. By the way, you can't get everything in life you might want with curt text messages.
