Scammers don't care about list or laws, if they did, you would never hear from them.

Really??? Unemployment or disability not a valid reason? I sure do hope that you never experience getting laid off and find yourself deciding on keeping your mortgage up or letting them turn off your electricity while you try to find another job.....asshat

You must realize what people go through that have no outstanding debt that get constantly harassed by debt collectors looking for random people every single day. All they are trying to do is live their lives, yet they have to deal with the constant harassment by people who cannot even be bothered to do their homework before initiating contact and often operate outside of the law. In short, debt collectors are as bad as the deadbeats they prey on, if not worse.

While I agree with what you are saying, I have to wonder why everyone seems compelled to reply to really old posts, in this case 9 years old, and then expects that person suddenly come back after all those years to see your reply?

Because I have been dealing with this for over a decade, one debt collector after another nearly every day for years, despite not having any outstanding debt. In fact, I just dealt with one of these debt collectors from this very number today who had been calling my adolescent son's phone looking for some random person. It gets old. And having someone crying about the poor old debt collector like they deserve any sympathy is appalling.

Also whether or not they see the reply is irrelevant. I would not be surprised if the same person is still in the same job at this number 9 years later. Even so, I care if they see my response about as much as they do when they keep calling the wrong number every single day.

Maybe, maybe not.  In most cases those are just trolls trying to stir things up.  However, in my life experience I have found it much better to expend energy to solve problems rather than expend energy that will accomplish nothing.  So, if you are interested in solving your problem here is the solution.  If not, then simply ignore my post.

If you want to learn how to make the calls stop, if you would like to know what agencies to report them to, and if you would like to know how to make them pay you for the harassment, please read my post here:  https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-288-1524/2#p1300447216138459617

So is yelling it out your window, but here your polluting the thread with useless information nobody else should have to sift through just because you want to rant your personal feeling/opinions to someone who will never even read it.
You say its irrelevant, then why bother?  The ONLY person it does seem to be 'relevant' to is...YOU!

Just got a call from 800-915-1016.  Missed the call.  Nothing showed up on the caller ID.  No message was left. According to this thread this is PRS.   If this is PRS leave a message so I can tell you to remove me from your list.  I have no outstanding debt.

Called and left a voicemail that just said they are a debt collector and left a different number to call back than what was on caller ID.   Didn't provide a company name or who they calling for and mumbled when they spoke.  Doesn't sound legit to me.
