I also received a call today regarding winning a prize, and i was actually all intrested in all this until one of my friend found this website and i read all of you guyses comments. So i gues its fake and a waste of time going to the place that they wanted u to go to.

Same message as the others, called my cel phone and our unlisted number.

As all the rest, my cell phone was on silent and i woke up to see that i had 1 missed call. Looked at the caller list and saw it was that number. I have no clue how they could get my number since ive only had this number for 9 DAYS.

Received this same message AT WORK!!!  I didnt call back.  I hate telemarketing people!!!!!
This is a timeshare solicitation scam. "Hi this is Carmen calling from the Awards Claim Center. We have been trying to reach you regarding our promotion to receive a brand new Ford Explorer. Please give me a call as soon as possible. I have great news for you. My toll-free number is 1-800-918-4224 and your claim number is ****. It is very important you give us a call as soon as possible. Thank you and have a great day." Don't waste your time! Block this number.

Received a call at work from Carmen at the Awards Claim center.  We have been trying to reach you for some time.  You entered a contest for a Ford F150 and I have some very good news for you.  Please call as soon a possible and use you claim number of HH592.  my number is 800-918-4224.

I too just received a call from Carmen indicating that I'd won a 20ft Bay Liner.  She left a claim number and 800 number (800 918 4224).

GOD I LOVE THE INTERNET!!!!! I had a good feeling this crap was a scam but hey you never know. I sign up for some contests and pretty much just forget about them and hope something good will happen. While I was on hold, I googled awards claim center scam and BOOM there was this site. The FIRST message was exactly what CARMEN called me with. I hung up immediately. THANK YOU FOR THIS SITE WHOEVER YOU ARE!!!!!

Call received from 8009184224 on 12 Mar 2007. The recorded voice stated, "Hello, I am calling from the awards center. You have won a new Ford Explorer, please call me back at..."

I clicked zero and the call disconnected. I immediately reported the call and filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

I just got the scam call as well. I sure do love Carmen!

I have also received a call from Carmen just the other day.  I won't waste my time calling back with the claim#.

I received this same call just now on my work phone.  They left a message on voice mail, since I don't answer unrecognized numbers.

I too just recieved the call and found it very fishy that they would call me on my work line, not knowing even my name or whom I worked for and then say they had been trying to reach me. I infact called back to talk with them.  They were very unprofessional like on the phone, talking to other people in the background instead of just me.  He gave me an address to send a stamped and addressed envelope and then they would send me a free vacation package. It all went so quick...real life things never go quickly. Everything about this has SCAM written all over it.  I would never give out a work phone when entering a contest, even if I did enter contests, which I don't/

Carrie called and left a message on my business line.  Same message as others have reported.  Ford Explorer or $25K in cash.  Last chance to receive prize and left a claim #.  First thing I did was Google the phone # and here I am.

I just recieved a call on my cell phone from the same number.  When I pushed answer and said hello, it was just silence.  I thought it was strange that I was getting a call on my cell from an 800 number so I googled the number and found this site.  Thanks for the heads-up everyone.

Just received a call stating that I won a Ford Explorer. I that was my CELL! I do pay for minutes, but good thing I did not pick up. Where are those old days when scum calls were stuck on the answering machine at home.

Called me in SLC, UT at work.  Pain in the butt!  I googled the award center and this number to see it is a scam.  TG for Google!

Carmen is calling in Georgia 478 area code now.  I would have to pay taxes....I think I'll let them keep my Ford.

Received a message on my work phone left at 9pm from Carmen saying that I won a Ford Explorer with a claim #.  The call back # left by Carmen is 800-918-4224.
