Daily nuisance call from this number.

Funny that the voice of the guy on the message you get when you call the number is the same as the voice of the nitwit who calls you with the offer of the big discount.  It's bogus.  I call and leave urgent messages every chance I get.  Join the fun and give them lots of calls!

I had someone call me from Horizon power.  I switched 3 of 4 property's I own over after researching that their rates are lower than BGE and Delmarva.  I figured it saving me about $7-$10 a month on my electric bills.  They are a wind power company.  I have had a good exprience with them and have many other co-workers switch to them.

Whatever this company is, their calls are purely annoying - as in at least twice or three times a day! No chance to find out what company it is - as stated above, there is never a live person to return the call. Blocking the call doesn't work. These calls pose more than an annoyance - for an elderly person who hurries to answer before the phone stops ringing, it's downright dangerous! If I knew what or whom to sue, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

call from 800.919.8021 most days about noon. My number is on the no-call list and is a cell phone. The few times I answered,there was nothing on the other end. Used to get many calls from someone trying to get me to sign up for electricity from alternate supplier, probably this same number. Told them to never call again, but they pay no attention. I/m in New York.

Caller wanted to lower my energy bills. If I don't answer, when my machine kicks in, it buzzes, and then hangs up.

Caller only leaves messages on my phone.  If I pick up, they hang up.  Messages ask me to call back, I'll try to get a transcription the next time they call.  I'd like to get them to stop calling, because they're calling on my cell number.  I'm guessing I'll have to report them to Verizon.  I'm on all the do-not-call lists, so this is blatant abuse, unless they're calling my business -- in which case they should stop anyway.  I'm adding them to my phone address book so I'll know not to pick up next time the call comes in.

Bizarre call: a recording, with a woman's voice, earnest and with a touch of gravel in it, as if she were reporting a disaster. Her spiel began, "Don't hang up." After the next sentence, I immediately did. The message was very far from anything that concerns utility bills.

Your stupid. It's an alternative supplier to lower your electric/gas bill. Your the one missing out buddy!

this number calls me several times a day every day!  Never anyone on the line and when you call it back you get a dial tone.

they've called 6 times in the past 3 days... i tell them they're calling a cell phone...  then they hang up immediately!   they seem to forget and call back in a couple of hours.  witless amnesiacs working for that company!!

it's not that they're calling again and again.  when you hang up, your number gets put back into the system automatically and someone else from another call center will call you when your number appears on the computer.  If the system is anything like the one i had to use when i used to do polls and surveys for Zogby, then you can't say do not call back.  You must say not interested and please not call back.  I don't know if that'll work but it's the only option they can at the call center.  The actual person has no affect on the system. Plus, they may claim to not be a telemarketer, which they are, and therefore the do not call list won't apply to them.  I used to get people all the time who thought we were telemarketers, but we weren't.   We just sought your opinion.  But in this case, they are because they are trying to get you to sign up for something.  I dunno, but there might be a loophole.  so there is no way of stopping them.  Just hope the program doesn't last long.  Or some old lady will get hurt.... that'll stop them!

I've gotten calls from this number at least once a day for the last two weeks and decided to google it when I found this thread. I answered the call once and the guy immediately started asking me who pays my utilities. I'm like 'who are you and why do you need to know?' He didn't have a quick answer for me so I hung up on him. They still continue to call - I don't answer and they don't leave a message. I just called now and asked for my name to be taken off thier list. It was quick and they complied.

800-919-8021 called, same "crap" as other posted here. This inconvience should be a "hanging" offense.

They wanted to speak to somebody that handled the BGE account.  When I asked if they were BGE, he said that they were Sparks calling on behalf of BGE.  Needless to say, I didn't give him any information.  Said I would have the Accountant call back.

I got this call at work about 10:15 am!  I held the phone for a while, but, no one came on.

Person calling claimed that I was retroactively entitled to an 8% rebate on my electric bill and that future bills would also show this reduction.  He did not indicate he was not with BGE until after I gave him my BGE account no. at which time he indicated that his name was Jeremy Mundinger at 1-800-919-8021 x391 and that his company was "Spark Electric". I called the number and got a recording saying Thank you for calling the customer service center,  if you know your caller's extension...." with no mention of company name.
