I too am in Colorado and am receiving the calls.  I went to the nearest Sears (Southwest Plaza Littleton) I made the employee in the appliance department call to get my name removed from the list.  She was very rude to me.  After 20 min. on the phone with the corporate office and several different people she said they could remove my number but it would take 8 weeks!  She also told me I didn't have to shop there!

I am receiving the same calls.  I went to the Sears Store in my area and asked the employee in the appliance department to remove me from the call list.  She acted like I had somehow wronged Sears and was extremely rude.
She offered yet another 800 number.  I said no I want you to call.  After 20 min. with Sears corporate office and being transferred around she told me it would take 8 weeks to remove me from the list.  I then tried to give her a heads up as to the web and how many people are upset about this and she said "You don't have to shop here, I have worked here many years and you are the first person to complain about this"  I said I just thought that if she was on commision she may want to know about it.  I will not spend my money at Sears.  I guess Sears is so overrun with customers that they don't need anymore.  GO TO YOUR LOCAL SEARS STORE AND MAKE THEM CALL TO REMOVE YOU FROM THE LIST.  MAYBE THEY WILL GET THE MESSAGE.  I have also found out that they target certain areas for their calls.  Many friends have started getting the calls.  Wonder if the rotation lasts 8 weeks? Hmmmmmmm

Received another hangup call from 800-927-2291 at 9:34AM.  I said hello..no answer.  *69 ID the calling number as 800-927-2291.
Must have received 5 -7 of these no-response, hang-up calls from SEars over the summer.

I also keep getting these damn annoying phone calls from Sears Warranty.  Please stop the madness!  If I want a extended Warranty from Sears I will let them know.  And please stop these calls at all hours of the day and night.

This is total harassment and I expect this to stop immediately!

And I am also on the Do Not Call List!

I have asked Sears to stop calling - I don't need or want to renew my warranty.  

Can we file a complaint??

Started receiving calls from this number several days ago. They call 4 to 5 times a day. I don't answer and they do not leave a message on the answering machine.

Its the annoying 800 927 2291 toll free number again. Why is this allowed to happen? I am on the national do not call list and this caller keeps annoying us with this ringing. Get Rid of Them!

Several calls per day and never leaves a message.  Text on caller id is 'unknown' so I don't answer.

Sears associates are NOT allowed to sell anything to themselves, friends or family - a dismissable offense. Don't suppose Tim you have the guts to post your store # and associate # so you can be FIRED! Cell phones, if your manager/coach allows them and I doubt it, should be turned off or be on vibrate if on the floor. And do you even realize how many branches of service are governed by Sears Holdings? All day at Sears - seriously doubt your shift was over 6 hours so all I can say is whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! If you work as hard - ha ha - as I figure you do you probably don't even deserve a job a McDonald's, much less a major retail store.

Then don't buy agreements if you don't want to be called to have it renewed. Go ahead and pay to have your item repaired when it breaks down after the manufactures warranty runs out. Maybe you'll get a lemon and end up buying a new item so to speak in what you spend having it repaired when you could have been covered by the agreement you didn't want to be called about. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

One word - commission! Makes a great motivator.

This number has called my house several times a aweek for two weeks. When i finally picked it up no one was there. The next time they called it was Sears asking if I wanted to get a warenty on an on something I bought from them. They asked for my name, number, and were I lived. But I said to them if I am your custemer you should have that allready, so I just hung up. The next time they called all I said was stop calling butthy still do.

I called the number back.  The automated answerer idenitfied itself as Sears Protection Agreement.

I recieve calls from this number all the time. I never answer calls from people I don't know. But, I always google the persistant ones. So, I finally know that this number is Sears. I guess I can thank my mom for that since she's the only one who shops there. I work nights and its really annoying to be hearing the phone ring constantly throughout the day while I'm sleeping. I think that they should really stop calling the same number that doesn't answer after a month.

For the person who works at Sears. I like how you don't like this either. And I can't believe your not aloud to sell anything to yourself at Sears. I would think that you get an employee discount. And what if you purchase something when your not working. I don't but I really wish that these people would STOP calling.

Repeated phone calls. Reported to National Do Not Call directory. Hopefully they will do something.

Asked them stop calling me , informed them this is a recorded call they said they cannot speak with me. spoke with james whos id is 582916.

Even if your name is on the do not call list they still can call you if you have an existing account with them.  Kind of pointless for a "Do Not Call" list.  It's supposed to stop telemarkets and stuff like that.

This person is ticking me off. i will answer that phone next time. But, what if he knows where we live, thats why im scard. 0.0. How did he get our number in the first place.

http://www.donotcall.gov will help. I have been registered for over a year and Sears called me multiple times- I have jus reported them. Next time they will be fined.
