Numerous calls a day on my cell phone.  When I say "hello" there's nobody there.  I called the number and asked to be removed from their call list.  What a pain !  
Sears: this is so low class and so beneath you.  What are you thinking ?

This is just plain harrassment! I've recently been injured and am home all day long. They begin calling around 8:30am and don't stop calling til nearly 11pm! It's ridiculous the amount of times I have answered and hung up. Okay, if it's Sears wanting to renew a warranty, that's fine-- but have someone who clearly speaks English do it! I answered and it sounded like someone who is oriental "Hello? Hello?" and they hung up. There were tons of other people talking (I'm assuming other 'telemarketers') in the background as well. It's insane!

I receive repeated calls in the course of a day and into the night, every day of the week. They begin VERY early in the morning and end VERY late in the night. I do not answer them any longer. I have already told Sears I was not interested in a warranty. The calls did stop for a period of time and began again today.... The people that I have talked with in the past are pushy about the warranties.

Every time Sears calls me, I report them on donotcall.gov. I am sure after so many complaints, the FTC HAS to look into things. I also plan on calling sears and complaining to them as well.

Just called sears. They said it would take 8 WEEKS for the calls to completely stop, but they did remove my number from their database.

Insane!

800-927-2291 has called my work cell phone about 20 times today.  I havent called back yet but did a Google search and aha!!...Sears warranty appears to be the caller. I dont even have anything from Sears that is under warranty...geeezzzz.

Endless calls at all times of the day. I am SO ashamed of Sears...why? I WORK there...I sold the washing machine to myself! The best part? I got bitched out for my cell ringing at work...SEARS!  I could not figure out who the heck would have my number...I NEVER give it out...except to Sears. I typed in this number and BAMMO! Sears. Who would have though this crap would come from my company. Jeeze everyone....I am sorry. I will tell my customers to give a bad number so this will not happen to them too. Shamefull abuse of peoples time, cell minuts ect.
What prompted me to find out this number was that I was woke up from taking a nap today...after working all day at SEARS!

Like all the other reports, we get calls from 800-927-2291 at all hours including weekends. Enough already.

Keep getting calls from this number - never leave a message - How can I get my name off their calling list - has to be some type of telemarketteer!!

Called on a Saturday morning, but no one was therw ehrn the phone was answered.

Got calls from 800-927-2291 multiple time a day every day including Saturdays and Sundays. Answering the phone would get a dead line. Not answering the phone did not get any message on the answering machine. Tried answering and hitting * key multiple times. Also tried the # key. Finally downloaded a "disconnected line tone" from the internet and played it into the phone as soon as I answered. Tried this a couple of times and finally, so far, for a few days no calls from 800-927-2291. Hope this is a permanent thing.

5 calls per day in the last few days.

Have received daily phone calls since mid-July. Often within a half hour of another suspicious phone number of (313)945-1111.

received 5 calls in a 24-hr period.  When I pick up, no one is there.  If the answering machine "picks-up", there is no message.  Have been getting calls from this number for over a year even tho I regiestered as a do-not-call member.  I plan to try to get myself off their list.  Wish me luck!

I too have started getting calls from 800-927-2291 and have not answered.  It appears from all the postings that it is from Sears looking to sell an extended warranty, likely for my fridge.  Well, it just took them 3 weeks to repair a bad compressor.  My first call to them it took 8 days for the technician to come out and confirm the bad part.  He placed a rush order delivery for the part, then tells me he will not be back for another 11 days.  Why would anybody buy an extended warranty when it takes them so long to fix the appliance???  Needless to say, I will never buy anything from them ever again!!

They called two times today already. I wouldn't suggest calling them back even to "remove your number from the list" because they might not be SEARS. If you think they are SEARS, write down the number that keeps calling you and call the actual department store or the number on the back of your SEARS credit card if you have one. Then you know you are REALLY talking with someone from SEARS. Tell them that 1-800-927-2291 keeps calling you and you feel it might be a scam call. They will check to see if it a registered number of SEARS. If not, then you know it really wasn't SEARS. I did that with people claiming to be from Home Depot. I called the real Home Depot and it turned out that the number which was calling me was in fact a scam phone call.
