I just got a call from this same number this morning. The last time I had a pesky caller, I put them in my phone as a contact named "pita" (pain in the [***]), and set the ring tone for the contact to "none". Whoever it was eventually quit calling, as I never heard them! I'll do it with Sears too if it happens again.

These calls are borderline on the ridiculous! I receive calls anytime day or night. I called the number and requested to be removed from the call list.  I am totally turned off by what ever Sears is trying to sell!  These calls are a marketing nightmare and Sears has made me one of it's stars!!!

I called this number back after getting 3-5 calls per day for the last 2 weeks.  As I read above, it was Sears for some protection plan on something I bought there.  It took all of 2 minutes and 3 seconds to get my number removed, and that counted the time I spent going through the menus, so overall, a good experience.

This number calls everyday AM & PM 4 to 5 times a day. They never leave a message. My phone shows it as 800 Service than the number 1-800-927-2291. This has been going on for over a month now and still going!

Funny it's Sears Warranty.  I bought that piece of garbage Maytag Neptune in 2001 and CAN NOT wait til it dies so I can throw it in the back of my Subaru Baja and haul it to The Dump.  The last time I had a repair guy (under warranty) he said to not pay any money for a new warranty, when it expires, but rather apply the funds towards a simple, dial turning, Whirlpool.  I digress...  Yes, they are looking to re-up me and I am certainly not interested.

Ok...I just called and spoke w/ a customer rep.  She did alot of clicking   on her keyboard and was curt when we hung up. I have an inkling that she was pulling my chain.

I've just received two calls.  A few years back they haranged me with constant calling to get warranties on equipment I'd bought years prior.  I asked them stop calling each and every time and they wouldn't.  I talked with a mgr. who assured me they would stop calling; they finally did. I too am on donotcall registry (because of this Sears incident).  I'm not sure it works if you've given them your number on invoice info when purchasing.  I love the idea of setting the ringtone on my phone to none.  I can't decide if I'll do this or go back to answering the number saying "Hold please" and leave the phone off the hook - go back to work and wait until they give up.  (If they can steal my time without permission, I guess I can do the same.)  Probably I'll contact SEARS and tell them despite my satisfaction with their appliances, the poor custumer service and callous disregard for people who've already given them business has resulted in my decision to take my purchasing power elsewhere.

Ever since I returned a product, I've been getting this call several times each day. When I returned the product I was given a hard times by the sale person from Sears.  I don't understand why this sale person took it so personal just because the customers are not satisfy with the product which they are allowed to return within 30 days.  But ever since I've been getting this 1-800-927-2291 calls when I picked up noone answered.  This is harassing...I'd like this to stop.

Someone from this number calls me numerous times a day.  From reading the postings herein, I'm sure, like several others, it is from Sears - regarding warranty info.  I have purchased several Sears products in the last year and they are obnoxiously persistent in calling me to buy warranties.  I'm going to continue to not answer the calls as when they have called in the past and I answered, I told them NEVER to call me again and that if I ever wanted a warranty, I knew how to get ahold of them.

It is Sears Warranty. I recently bought a TV, and the # showed up on caller ID several times while I was at work. They finally called this evening, and they were just following up on my purchase, to ask how the TV was doing. No harrassment, just customer service. Now that I talked to them, I expect no more calls till they call back to schedule in-home-service for the TV later this year.

Numerous calls to my cell phone, beginning early Sat. afternoon.  No humans on the other end... now that i've read the above, I'll call Sears and get my number removed from their call list.  Pain in the rear to have to put up with this type of harrassment.  Write your congressman... help stop the nonsense.

I'm having the same problem with Sears Warranty Service. Though I told the man I spoke with that I was not interested in renewing my contract, Sears will NOT take no for an answer. They call several times a a day (and night).

I will not purchase a major appliance from Sears again until this practice stops! There are too many other viable options out there.

Like all of you, my wife had been called repeatedly and no one ever spoke to her on the other end when she answered. I found this site and then called the number.... Sears. Spoke to some goof name Sybil. A tyical moron that explained that she couldn't do anything other than make a notation that my wife isn't the guy that originally had this phone number on her computer and that I'd probably receive more calls until the "outbound caller" sees that entry. I never buy anything from Sears and this is reinforces the reasons why. Before hanging up she said, "thank you for choosing Sears". I asked her if she was crazy and she replied that she was instructed to end every call by saying that. MORON..............

I have been getting numerous phone calls on an unlisted number.  Finally, my husband found out where the harrassing calls were coming from.  I am never buying a Sears applicance again!  Sears lost a customer that has been buying Sears appliances for over 20 years.
If others will follow my example this nonsense will stop.

I was getting calls everyday, sometimes in the evening. I called and was told it takes 8 weeks to filter me out of the system and that was unacceptable I then threatened legal action, I said I will be calling 911 when this call is done if they will ot take me off immediately! NO MORE CALLS PERIOD or they will get served with legal seize and desist orders.
