This num is pretending to be from bank of America..its a SCAM. I received multiple text today asking me to click on the link but nope,  I Google the num and here we are with these theives

I received a call from  (800) 933-6262 at 6:46 AM.  Who opened business that early.  It is a scam.  Beware of (800) 933-6262.

I got a physical letter and at the bottom is has written(printed in caps, very bottom right corner... "NOTNOPCON BOUNCE"

My name is correct, but the beginning of the letter is addressed to

Dear Bank of America Customer
Subject: ACTION NEEDED

Unfortunately, after multiple attwmpts to notify you......

*that's where I said this can't be real at all*

If you have further questions call 1-800-933-6262 call for information on why?

This all was from physical mail I recieved

Caller wanted personal BOA info to verify my identity.  I hung up and called BOA who did not call and wouldn't for personal info.

Started to get small charges on my debit card. LOCKED my card because I suspected fraud. Still was getting small charges, but they didn't go through because card was locked. Then the phone calls started from (800)933-6262. I ignored the call. I looked up the number and found it was a scam. Scammers pretend to be from BofA. Going to cancel debit card once bank opens (3 day holiday.) Card is locked until then.

I just recieved a phone call stating someone made two attempts to zell money from my account for 455.00 to a todd(something)...I said I did not authorize any transfer, and listened to them, until they requested me to please log into my bank account...I immediately hung up...BEWARE

I called Bank of America and they stated that number was NOT legitimate Bank of America number and that the text coming from a 5 digit code also proves its not legitimate.

It may be a former # for B of A.

They abandoned it and some scammer picked it up.
I've seen this happen for a government phone number too.

Double and triple check, ask what it's about, then call B of A directly with the number on the back of your ATM card or the like.
