I called this number back, spoke with a representative and she said she would take me off. This is so annoying!!!

The caller identified himself as being from Bank of America but gave my husband a different number than the one displayed on caller ID. The person wanted to talk to him about a loan and wanted his social security number and his mother's maiden name. My husband then determined that this person was calling our son who has a different middle initial. The caller requested that our son call 88-362-6297 but that number belongs to Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union. This call is similar to the many phishing emails I get, some of which are Bank of America phonies.

Calls every day, sometimes many time per day

Nine calls so far today from (800) 943-3022 - never anyone on the line.   Calls start about 0800h and continue past 2100h.   We've been getting these calls for several months now, even though we've been on the DONOTCALL list for years (and have renewed our listing).

I picked up the phone, and there was no one there. I did a *69 and it came back to 800-943-3022.

I don't appreciate being woken up with no one at the other end.

I work 3rd shift. Thought it was my wife.

They call about 3 to 6 times a day and will not stop calling

Bank of America calls all time of the day... I am sick of it... I will not answer the phone... They need to stop it now....

Caller calls several times a week to sell insurance on credit card. I have paid off the dredit card and requested the account be discontinued; but the calls keep coming. The account was even reopened and I was billed $1.50 after the account was paid off in full.
Most calls have come from Newark, DE, but callers claim to be in Las Vegas, Arizona, West Virginia. calls come more than once per day, sometimes.  There is no reason for them to call. Often they do not give any reason. rr

I've received three calls now in the last four days, all around 10:00 am.
I've registered with the do not call site. The 1(800)943-3022  wastes valuable time of the public- could you imagine what we could all do with the total amount of time wasted on these calls?  Make sure you report them. In the long run, this may stop them.  If a number keeps calling and you've requested them to stop, they can be fined up to $11,000. I bet if the harassed person got that $ everybody would be reporting these callers.

I've had from this caller.
I'm on the do not call list as well.
So much for that.  How do you pursue and follow up on the abuse of the
callers?  I sure would like conformation.

What a total waste of people's time and lives these callers are
allowed to create.  What's being done.  Look at all the people
who have received these calls and made complaints so far. What's
the point if there is no follow through?  How many harrassed
people do we need to list?  Come on!

I received a call of B of A. I did not answer, they just hung out.
If I have business with B of A, then I will call them.

It's Bank of America.. They call every day from different numbers... I will not answer the phone from any 800 number.. They call late in the evening too.....How do you stop this?????

The number showed up on my caller id. each time i answer the phone, no one answers and then they hang up. the last time i answered and told them I believed it was a scam and they immediately hung up.

This number has been harassing me for weeks... several calls a day!

This is not Bank of America.  It's a phishing scam.  A lot of people use Bank of America, so that's why they say they're calling from BoA.  I called BoA and they confirmed that it is not them calling.  They would never ask for the information that these people ask for, like you SSN, DOB, etc.  I've asked them to stop calling, but they continue.

They just called again and they call multiple times a day.  If I'm home, I pick up and don't say anything and let them hang up.

Well I have asked nicely to have my name removed 11 times from them and all I get is yes we will do it ..........and the phone calls continue.........I just fired off an email to BofA twelling them that if these phone calls or any other do not stop imediately they can have their card back complete with all debts which I know they will not pursue due tot he amounmt. I am old enough and own my own home and vehicle now so that even f they did try and pursue the CC money it would mean nothing. I am retired so no income to garnish either. Screw BofA
