- Martin L replies to Michelle MaddenI'm sorry you had to experience that abuse. But it just shows that even though we call them scammers , they are still thugs and lowlifes who use their street behavior to try to scare and intimidate as if they were actually robbing the person on the street.
Also ,even if this is nitpicking, the scammers do not hack into Chase's computer system to make calls from them.
They use a technique called Caller ID spoofing (usually just said as spoofing)
that in their telephone substitutes their regular Caller ID name and number with any they want so that information is what is displayed on your phone. So this falsified ID is done by the phone, not by hacking the computer. - JonesTHIS IS NOT CHASE CALLING YOU! This is a scammer who illegally spoofs Chase's phone number to fool you and rip you off. Do not answer the jerks!

- Jason B. replies to robertToday is September 26, 2019 and I just received a phone call from 800-945-2000. First thing was a recording asking me to enter my credit card number. It's a scammer that is attempting to obtain credit card numbers, names, social security numbers, on subsequent calls to the same phone number they attempted to get other personal info. This phone number is a scam. BEWARE
- RoseCalled my number, hung up before I could answer. I should note that I do not nor have ever held a credit card from Chase Bank.
- Caller: ???
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Mega replies to kfIt IS a scam, plain and simple, when the number is spoofed and some Indian (red dot, not feather) is on the phone saying they can reduce your interest rate on a card he can't even tell you what you have! They are spoofing Chase's number. I also get calls from my own number and I'm pretty sure when I'm making coffee that I haven't made a call from said coffee pot.
- RapperfaceChase Bank has assured me that this phone number is being spoofed by nefarious parties attempting to steal your money.

- Ellen replies to K.D.Love this idea. An inbound 800 number? Total BS.
- VN replies to robertIt's still a scam. That may be the correct number for Chase, but they spoof the phone numbers. I got a scam call. The caller ID was from my own number. It was the microsoft call. And I get that credit card call 3 times a day.

- jetamesThis is absolutely Chase's number but it is spoofed! Received the call at 1:27pm with caller ID "Chase Card Services." I did not answer and no message was left. I then called the same number back and spoke with a Chase assistant. She assured me that the call I received was a "mirrored" call...(a spoofed call) and that my account was secure. Never give your personal information to random callers!
