800-978-8664

Called the number on the back of my card - 800-935-9935. I was advised 800-978-8664 is the number for their fraud and abuse department.  Obviously someone can spoof the number or include it in an email to appear more legitimate so, please, always call the number on the back of your card and never give any personal info via email or to a cold caller in this day and age, but the number is easily verifiable with the Chase main customer service number.  I had my suspicions based on this site, but the main number quickly assuaged my doubts.  Again don't call the number if you have doubts, but do call the main customer service number on the back of your card if Chase is reporting a fraud attempt.

It says it’s a chase bank but they gave me the number through a text message and which they said they would never ask for any account numbers any security questions or basically any information over the phone. Well this was a total opposite and not only did the lady when I was like that’s not  she insisted that I need to give her information and that’s when I said no there’s no way I’m gonna do it and hung up the phone after she said goddamnit
