Also got the call and we are on the do not call list too. Neither of us had entered a contest for a Navigator. It's a shame what people will do to earn a living. They should be ashamed!

I received the call today.  Was going to drive to Gatlinburg in the morning.  Thank goodness for this site.  It is associated with cfi WESTGATE properties, times shares all across the United States.  I googled the address and it is off the beaten path in Gatlinburg.  He told me there were six finalists and when I asked him how was I guaranteed to win when he had said there were four prizes, the stated more than one prize in each category.  I am tempted to drive up just to see, but gasoline is too expensive right now.  He also said I was married, which I am not, and told me that was good, it was for singles and married individuals did not qualify.  I asked for his name and he stated it was Mark Bray.

Wow! I agree with all of you. I got a call from a guy named matt from the "prize distriubtion center"-Westgate resorts who said my name was selected on a sweepstakes I had entered for a lincoln navigator and that he had good news and congratulations. Im with the rest of you... Got a call back and it was from a woman named lauren. Called back again today and talked to a woman named Michelle (Bentley)...who said that my name was selected with 4 others and the prizes were a lincoln navigator (or $45,000 cash), $2,500 cash, a 7 night cruise to the bahamas, or a 32" tv. She said I had selected the age bracket of 25-65....kinda funny since im only 23...she also said that I had claimed that I make over $50,000 a year which is not true either.  lol....makes me wonder how many old style tvs they bought from circuit city(considering everything is becoming hi-def) if, only if, your able to "win" that even...funny how someone had mentioned another person on a post from this forum with the same last name. Hrm. So I made an "appointment" for 2pm tomorrow and was actually thinking about being stupid enough to waste gas and time to drive there and listen to their 90 min. presentation. Glad I trusted my instinct and did some research. THANKS EVERYONE! :) btw... they can call under different numbers... the two I received is 800-821-3984 and 800-238-3078. Remember nothing is free, always a catch somehow!

received a call from bill (prize distribution center) I called the # a girl told me he was in a meeting and she was his assistant and could take a message for me wanted my contact information, the caller Id said 312-488-1554 and the Phone # 1800-996-0081...I too googled the phone numbers found this site and I think Im going to report him to the attorney general's office.

So, did you go?  Was it a scam?

I received a mysterious call recently. A gentleman named "Bill" called and told me that I had entered a sweepstakes to win a '07 Lincoln Navigator and he had good news for me. That is, not saying exactly what I had won or what hoops I'd have to jump through to clain my "prize".  I don't remember ever signing up to win a Navigator, so I was more than a little suspicious.

After reading these posts, I'm not calling back.

Bill called me too from 800-996-0081. Said he was with Fry's and calling about a contest I entered in the last couple of months for a new Lincoln Navigator. Thanks to everyone for warning us about Bill on this website!

Same here.  Original caller id showed 708-441-3679.  Messages said I won a Lincoln Navigator.  Said to call 800-996-0081.

This is BOGUS!  Do not answer and do not call.

Received message that I was a contest winner and to redeem prize I had to call 800-996-0081. It's a scam, I filed a report with the FCC.

I received a call from (guess who) Bill (tel no. 7084413680) stating exaclty the same thing (winning Lincoln Navigator). When I tried calling the 1-800 no. which he left, I got an answering m/c addressed by a different person. Thanks to this group, I won't bother calling them again.

Mine caller was Dave from the "Prize Distribution Center". I don't have caller ID so I don't know the originating # but the message call back # was the same 800-996-0081. Interestingly enough, I am on the west coast...I guess they're working their way out here now. I am interested in what happened with the couple that was going to go because they were actually going to be in the location that was in question (Westgate?)...the post from February 7th. Any new info?

That is nearly word for word what the message on my answering macine said. Would you mind divulging your location? Just curious as most of the posts are further east than I am (I'm in CA).

I just got a message from Adam at the Prize Distribution Center telling me that I had entered a contest to win a Lincoln Navigator.  He said he had some very good news and what I needed to do was to call 800-821-3984 and ask for Michelle Bentley ASAP.  I thought it kind of sounded fishy so I googled it and found that I am not the only one that has received this message (although it looks like I'm the only one Adam called :)

Bill Called On Parent's Answering Machine Saying That My Dad Just Won A Lincoln Navigator. This Is The 2nd Time He Has Called My Family And I. 312-488-1853 Is The Number That He Called From, And It Came Up On My Caller ID As Illinois. When I Checked On A Feature That My Internet Service Provides It Said Chicago. He Said To Call Back A 1800 Number But Because Of This Message Board I Will Tell My Dad Not To Call Him Back. My Dad Remembers Signing Up To Win This Navigator But I Believe People Have Different Ways Of Finding Out What You Have Signed Up For In The Past. DO NOT CALL BILL BACK. He Is Trouble Waiting To Happen. He Never Said That You Won Anything He Just Said That He Is Looking At Your Form Or Whatever He Claims To Look At. The Amount Of Questions That He Asked Codename *Prop-Fiend I Just Know This Is A Scam. Unless You Have A Couple Millions In The Bank That Is Ok For Them To Steal Do Not Call These People Back

Pretty much the same only from David at Fry's Grocery, Marketing and Public Relations Department and left the number 1-800-821-2670 to call back as he had "Really good news about the Linclol Navigator prize". I do not recall entering any contest for a Navigator (don't want one), and I have put myself on  DO NOT CALL, and do not put my phone number on any entries - only work address.

I got this same call and when I told them I was not interested they said they would have to give my prize to someone else. So many scams out there. BEWARE! Nothing is FREE!!! Not now days anyway......

I received the same call from BILL. I won a contest I never even entered. Did not call back. I have gotten several of these over the past month or so and always check the number on the internet and report that number also. Don't be fooled by these scammers. BEWARE!!!!!
