Same call, same spiel. Interestingly enough, the only thing I've ever put my cell # on was something Westgate required when staying there once. Sounds like they may be behind this since I've seen their name mentioned in several postings.

Yes I too got a phone call from a dude named Bill this morning which was left on my answering machine(04/09/09)Bill. Bill says that he was calling from the Prize Distribution Center located in Chicago, Ill. Told me that I had entered a contest sometime ago called, "Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway". Now I do enter a lot of sweepstakes on the internet so I can't remember if I had entered or not. It could be possable. Left all the others Bill said I had won a New cat, a new Lincoln Navagator! My heart was pounding with excitement for at last I had won a grand prize in a Sweepstakes.  Yeah Right! I thought I would check it out on the internet. I typed the number that he gave me to call (1-800-301-3436) in Google Search and came up to this website. Sure glad I did....I never returned Bill's call.  SCAM!!!!SCAM!!!SCAM!!! These People should be shot!

My daughter was home sick and listened to the message. She called me thinking we won something wonderful but I questioned it's authenticity. I got the exact same message here in Austin Texas as they did in CA. In the past I've attended a couple time share torture days and can tell you how they can work. You go through a 90 minute presentation and then the hard sell begins for as long as they can keep you there. Then the "prize" is  something "equal in value" to the cheapest thing advertised. It always being a weekend at a time share. They don't get you there or even promise when a room is available. Probably doesn't need to to be said but my husband will attend the next one when **** freezes over!

Just got a call from Bill, too.  Shocking, but I seem to have also won a valuable prize.

My call was from Bill at 800-310-3436, same as noted by Glock Perfection on 8/8/09 above, and others.  It was my 3rd or 4th call, but this one was the "good news" one.  When I called them back, just out of curiosity and before I found this website, it was the Navigator, $2500, a trip or a TV.  The only info they wanted was my age group.  I forget when they said the "final" drawing was (November, I think) but I don't see any need to talk to them again.  My answering machine and call screening should take care of things if they don't give up. Call was from Illinois.  I'm in N. Carolina.  What a pity it is - like all the rest of us, I could have used the $45,000!

Gee, what a surprise to find this page of the same stories as me!  I received a message on my home answering machine from a guy named "Bill" from the "Prize Distribution Center/Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway" and that he had good news for me; I won a Lincoln Navigator.  The number left for me to call back was (800) 301-3436.  I called the number and it said "if you know your parties direct extension to please enter it" after I did not enter the extension ("Bill" did not leave one), I left a message but did NOT leave any identifiers, such as my name...just the same # that they called me at originally.  Later in the day when I got home, I had another message from them, only this time it was from "Theresa", their coordinator from the Prize Distribution Center, and for me to call her back at (866) 718-9550 x 108 to PICK 1 of my fabulous prizes! It was also a different phone # than before. Definitely a scam..not going to call her back of course. Checked online for what's a legit prize and what's probably not. Always ask what organization did you enter through (they would know), can you have a fax of your entry form, when did you enter (try to confirm that yourself), and you will ALWAYS get an affidavit if it's for real. If you have to attend something or they want money up-front; don't fall for it...it IS too good to be true.

Same deal.  Call from "Bill" sat on hold for 8 minutes, supervisor comes on the line to "verify"w my information.  Did not ask for personal info i.e. SS#, phone #, address, etc.  But she said "and you make over $50,000 a year correct".  I said Hell NO, then asked if I was single or married.  Stated that I was single, then she began to question my living situtation inquiring if I "Co-habitate with anyone".  SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

Bill called to tell me I had entered a contest for a Lincoln Navigator and he had "good news". I never entered such a contest. The number he gave to call back was 866-401-4626.

Yahoo! I won a Lincoln Navigator from a contest I never entered or ever heard of. Since I drive a Prius it is unlikely I would want a hugh gas hog.Guess maybe I won a lottery in England too.Glad this site is here to let people know it is a scam.Call came from Stacy Kaminski

got a call from James,same story, i could win a Lincoln Navigator or take the $45,000,i could win $2500,win a trip to Cancun,Mexico or a 32" color tv. We set up an appointment at a location which luckily was near where i live,so i went to this location before the appointment.The location was ligit,but i started asking people around there about the company (Global Destinations)and of course nobody had ever heard of that co.After looking at this site i will not attend,but i will be giving my friend James a call back.

I got the same phone call today 11/27/09 from Ms. Kaminsky..Can't wait to pick up my new Navigator...LOL

On December 24,2009, I received a message on my answer machine from "Bill" telling me I had won a Lincoln    
Navigator and to call 1-800-301-3436. When I called, a female answered, asked my name and 3 questions about my age. She also told me the contest wouldn't be over until the end of June. Since Bill said the contest
was over and I was the winner, I called back to ask about the discrepancy. A very nasty man answered and ranted on for a couple of minutes, said I had already called and whatever I was told the answer was the same and he then slammed the phone down.

Looks like they changed the number.  My message from Bill stating I had "good news" from I contest I entered to win a Lincoln Navigator was from caller ID 312-488-1854.  Left message for me to call 800-301-3436.  Some girl answered and put me on hold.  I decided to google while I waited and just hung up.  Figured it was a scam, but I do enter all kinds of contests.  Stay away from Bill at the Prize Distribution Center regaurding a Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway for Lincoln Navigator.

Hay, get my call from Bill Prize Distribution Center saying he had good news about the grand sweepstakes giveaway I entered sometime back and my navigator is brand new. Callback no. 1 800 301 3436. So I did got some [***] asking how old married whatever she put my entry back in for the next drawing. Then I asked if this is a scam, what she said? A scam I said and the line went dead. I'd like to see Bill some day. KokoKO ya bum
