i recieved a call today from message  today from someone named bill too, when i called back told me i was one of the finalists in the 2008 grand 2008 lincoln navigator sweepstakes and he said he would be getting back to me this weekend. He said I would recieve a certified letter in the mail. Looks like this is a scam, so where should I report him and where. Maybe the better business bureau. Can someone let me know.

Gees you too how do we find out or report this number.

but it was scam to get you to call them back and give them your personal information and i think they should get sued for doing this..

i've received 2 calls about 6 weeks apart.  i'm always guarded but thought i'd investigate.  1st call said i wond a navigator from a contest i entered several months ago. didn't enter any contests. answer their questions (i didn't)and you'll placed in a final drawing.  2nd call was from bill.  said i entered a drawing (i didn't) for a 2007 navigator.  he never said i won it.  2007?  beware.

Also got the message from "Bill" 800-996-00981 about entering a contest to win a lincoln navigator. Tried to return call and got an answering machine. I left no message thought I would ck, it out on internet. Glad I did.
That makes me sooo angry!!! Liars!

got a call the other day, they didnt answer when i picked up the phone, so i did a caller id, it was that 312 area code, didnt recognize it from anyone i knew, then tonight my answering machine got a call from this bill about winning the contest, good news. i called got the leave your name thing. hung up cause i wont leave that information.  then decided to check out this prize distribution center.  thanks guys very helpful, SCAM

same deal...said name was leah ward...number to call was 1-800-558-0948...westgate historic in williamsburg, va

Received a call from the referenced number and told to call back and ask for Bill.  Called back a received a message to leave my name an number and they would return my call.  I guess they won't be calling back, huh?

I received a call from "Bill" saying I had won a 2007 Lincoln Navigator and he had my entry in front of him.  And asking me to call back.  I googled the number instead and got all your messages.  Geez!  What can be done about this?  I forwarded some of the messages to my local police department, perhaps they can refer me on to someone that could catch these guys.

Thank God I found this site while on the phone with these people,I refused the prize. I first got a voicemail from Bill with the exact message as posted by folks earlier. I called back and then received a call back from CLAIMS Dept.708-4418060. We need to report these scam artists to the authorities.

A man called & left a message that I had won a prize from the prize distribution center. Also that I had entered it was now over & I was the winner. All they need me to do is call back.

Just like everyone else "Bill" left a message saying I had "entered a contest some time back" with a Lincoln Navigator prize and he was "looking at my entry form" and "had some good news"  He wanted me to call back.  Note he didn't say I had won anything.  I wasn't going to fall for that.

Same deal here. I call and speak to a woman who states Bill is in a meeting (it is currently 7pm central time) and she is his personal assistant. She had do some checking to locate me on her prize winners list (how many winners do they have - LOL) Anway - the scoop is now a 2008 Navigator, $2,500 cashiers check, a flat screen tv or a 3 days in Vegas - but have to come to Northbrook (about 1 hour away for me) to meet with the winners and then receive a scratch off ticket to determine which of the above I actually won. Oh, and yeah - have to sit through the sales pitch for a travel company. And has to be this week tomorrow Wed or Thursday only - ugh don't think so - have to work!!!

yeah so got the message from Bill last night that I was a winner. damn I thought I won a new car and while in the back of my mind i was sure it was a scam, it was nice to think about it before I fell asleep that i could be the winner of a nice new car. oh well. back to reality this morning!

Bill called me from Illinois from 312-625-5540 and said that the contest is over, congratulations that I had entered a contest to win a navigater two months ago, and I needed to call Bill @ 1-800-996-0081. and said congratulations again. I called both numbers , no answer , no answer.
someone please tell me what this persons trying to gain in doing this. I think I'll make a call to the attorney generals office, call new papers,and notify local T.V. stations.

I am looking at your entry form here and we may have some good news for you.  We need you to call us back at 1-800-996-0081.  Again, that's 1-800-996-0081 ask for Bill"

We called the 800 number, just to see what sort of spiel it was. (No one here had entered any contests.) No answer, no answering machine. So, we thought we'd check the web to see if there was any information. We found this site right off the bat. Thank you for the resource.

I never entered the contest either; I don't need to be bothered by scumbags !!!!!!!!!!! But I'm going to call "Bill" and mess with these turds !!!
