Three calls in three days.  I don't answer calls from numbers that I don't recognize, so they can keep calling.  Solicitations are not allowed on cell phone numbers, so report them if they are calling your cell, as I have.  BTW - Based upon what you all are stating, it sounds like they are simply validating that your number is a valid phone number (This explains the calls where nothing is said).

Data collection is right... they probably phish for all of information associated with a phone number that they can get from the web, validate that your number is still a valid one by calling it, and then using your information to submit to affiliate networks as a possible customer for a product or service...

It's a scam that makes them a commission for each person that they can submit information for, but isn't illegal because they aren't using your information to commit fraud.  It is just against the terms of agreement between the advertisers and the affiliate networks that they are submitting your information to. JIG is up!

I have reason to believe that TMobile has contracted this company, to contact there new customers, for a customer satisfaction survey.  The T Mobile rep, informed us that we would be receiving a call in the next few days, wanting our feedback on our over all experience with establishing new T Mobile service.

So, if any of you have recently signed up for new T Mobile service, I am pretty sure this is what the call is about.

Have you recently got new service with T Mobile?  We just got new service with T Mobile and were informed by the T Mobile employee, that we would be contacted in a few days to answer some questions, regarding our over all satisfaction with T Mobile and if T Mobiles employees met our expectations.

I just received a call.  While I don't answer calls I don't recognize, I always  google the number to find out who it may be.  After reading the posts and going to the company website, I thought about it and realized that this call must have been the T Mobile customer satisfaction survey.

I couldn't agree more, wasting our minutes bites.

getting a call from this number on weekends. Sometimes it comes up unavailable. No one answers and they just hang up when you answer the call>

According to the website http://westernwats.com (it works with one or two T's, but the proper name is Wats):

"If we have contacted you to complete a questionnaire, your time will be sincerely appreciated. If you prefer not to be contacted, please email us at optout@westernwats.com to be placed on our internal no-contact list. For clarity, the federal do not call list prevents telemarketers from calling registered phone numbers. Western Wats is not a telemarketing firm. The purpose of our telephone calls is not to sell but instead collect your opinions."

So, theoretically, you send an email to optout@westernwats.com and give them your telephone number and you're placed on their do-not-call list.  However, I have reservations about providing them a name and email address to go along with the number already in their database.

I am a new T-Mobile customer and I was informed that I would be receiving a telephone service, wanting feedback on how satisfied we were with how our new T Mobile service and with the employee who helped.

Perhaps you are a new T Mobile customer or have recently signed up for new wireless service.  You will not get charged for the call.

Also for those of you who asked them to stop calling.  They did inform me if I was not interested, they would not call back.

I have just gotten two calls within two minutes from this number. Their autodialer is VERY slow to detect voice, making me repeat my "hello" five or six times before the call is handed to a human processor. He claims to be from a survey company asking about my recent call to T-Mobile service and wanting to get answers to a five or six minute survey. The first question is to rank my satisfaction based on my most recent call. I told him ZERO, because my most recent call was him, calling me at work, on my cell phone, wasting my time with a survey. He said thanks, that was the last question he needed to ask and he hung up on me. No sooner than I put my phone back into my holster it was ringing again. Same number. Same voice. Same introduction, same question. Same answer to his question. He denied calling before. Claimed it was the first time. Then he hung up on me again.

I'm next going to call T-Mobile and let them know what I think of this crap.

This number keeps calling me and wont stop. I dont know the number so i have yet to answer it. Keeps calling at the worst times.

I've always had T-Mobile, but they only now just called me - twice - and didn't say anything for like 40 seconds and hung up. I just blocked the number because I don't want to deal with that kind of stuff when I don't know everyone's number.

I get calls on my cell from this number daily but never answer.

Same as everyone else. Just got a phone call but no message. Just renewed the T-Mobile service too.

I get calls from this number on my cell phone on a daily basis.  The caller does not leave voice messages so I do not return the calls and I usually do not answer calls from other area codes that I do not recognize.  I looked up the number on this site and it seems to be a company performing surveys according to other posts.

we receive calls from this number 3 times a day. does anyone knows how we can block this number ?

They said "hablo espanol" but I don't so I said I didn't, and they repeated "hablo espanol" so I hung up and never answered their call again. They called twice after that.

Just got a call today (Sunday) at 4:02pm but I did not answer. I just signed up with T-Mobile a few days ago.

i got a call too and i am also a new T-mobile customer i dont answer becuase i got time for someone charging me with crap and is was dat call free and yeqah why didnt they leave a name and number

Call to my T-Mobile cell phone on the day after I had called their service department (no one on their end picked up even after I said "Hello" twice). I called T-Mobile and they marked my account to NOT be called.

I get a call from this number everyday.  I googled it and see that it's probably a bogus number, so I don't answer
