801-623-4631

We have been called from 801-623-4631 most evenings on our home phone.  We have been picking it up on the third ring and there is no one there.

ALL Our phone have been registered on the national DO NOT CALL List since that list was first started.  

But lately we have been getting a number of solicitations over the phone -- mostly local ,but some from otrher area codes...

Anyone have an idea what's going on with this one and all the others...???

We have had several calls from a data miner at westernwats.com, the most recent call was at 8:44pm EST. Kind of late for any phone calls in my book!. They always ask if we have a child and if they could speak to them. We have told them that we would never allow such a call and not to call back yet they continue to do so. I finally called them back using a phone number from their web site and left a voice mail instructing them never to call again.

FYI- I would advise against sending them an e-mail as this just gives them your e-mail address. In the end these people are just scum bags who don't have the sense or self respect to get a real job that at the very least doesn't harm others. And we wonder why this country is going to hell in a hand basket... If I could drive to their offices I would handle this differently...

I once told a caller..........since I was on a do not call list.........that she was committing a federal felony.  She said "yes sir, I know, but it will only take a few minutes of your time".

I've been getting calls for a couple weeks now--maybe 4 in all. I don't recognize the number and I don't know anyone in Utah, so I never answered. I Googled the number and got this page.

This number has been calling 2-3 times per day, at all times, every day of the week.

received 2 calls today 10/28/07.  Picked up the first time but no response. 2nd call let it go into voice mail and they didnt leave a message.

i don't care if they are preschoolers mandy. they do not have my permission to call my house. they can all go to hell!

Got a call from this number and there was no one there. After doing some research on the internet I called Western Wats at 801-373-7735. There was a voicemail prompt to have your number removed from their list. It just went to the voicemail of Carley Scott in which she asked to leave a message with your number to be removed.

Called two times in a row around 8:50 on a Friday night.  I missed the call, no message was left.

Frequent calls.. No one speaks

Evening calls. Hangs up when answering machine answers. Reverse lookup says it is a wireless number from Provo, Utah. How can they afford to make wireless calls and then hang up without leaving a message?

THEY CALLED CLAIMING TO BE WITH THE NEW ATT YELLOW PAGES WANTING TO KNOW HOW HAPPY WE WERE WITH OUR AD. I EXPLAINED THAT MANAGER WAS NOT IN. HE SAID THEY COULD NOT RECEIVE INCOMING CALLS.

Just got a call from 801-623-4631. They said they were conducting a servay fro Lafayette Ambasador Bank. With all the fraud happening, My wife said she was not interested and hung up. I Googled the number and this site came up. From reading the responses I can see that this is (might be) a legitimate business collecting info on behalf of there customers. If that is so, and someone from Lafayette Ambasador Bank is reading this......this is a very bad way to get info........I will be calling my rep. at the bank and letting them know that I do not appreciate the bank giving my phone number to research companies.

I receive many such calls from AC Neilson MTN Research etc.  I have started filing comlaints with the FCC for each one that does not honor my asking them to remove me from their calling list.  Another neat thing I do now is I have my answering machine pick up on the 2nd ring with the message about how this number is on the National do not call list and also letting them know if they are calling for soliciting etc to remove this number from their calling list.

Received a call from this humber 11/19/07  5:56PM Pacific.  Said they were taking a survey.  I said I am not interested.  They became persistent.  Informed them to remove this number from their calling list and if I received another call from them I would file a complaint with the FCC.  Which I do with great pleasure on any call I see on my caller ID after one time of my answering machine informing any solicitors, surveys, charities ect to remove this number from their calling list. :o)

Just calls from this number and hangs up when I answer. It needs to stop.

I screen my calls so have never answered these calls but I usually get two calls in a row - the first one comes up as "unknown caller" immediately followed by one of the two phone numbers.  This has been going on daily for a  week.  The postings have been helpful in knowing that others are having the same issues - how do we get this to stop!  They have called on weekends, weekdays, and at any time of the day.

got one of these calls too...strange
