Received a telephone call from 813.899.1569 today, only 4 rings then they hung up.   I'll block this number on my IPhone.

Asked me if I would like to learn about new companies. I said No. This sounds like a script out of Boiler Room.

called our office again today - Saturday!

Called our office at 6:12pm.  

Call was instantly blocked by our DIGITONE call blocker.  Our office phone does not ring when they call.

L and J Bay Area called me today with a caller ID of 813 899-1569.  It is from L and J Bay Area doing informational surveys to get around the national do not call registry.  You can call them back at this number, 813 988-5941 and the L and J Bay Area operator removes your number from their call list.  If they call again file a complaint with the FTC.

Their call was blocked BEFORE they even dialed our number.  We have the ENTIRE 813 area code blocked thanks to our Digitone call blocker.

They called our office again -  their call was blocked before they even dialed our number.

BTW our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in.

I've gotten calls from this number with no message left. I always look these numbers up to see what others say about them, but I never answer. They always call my cell phone, so I finally got an app called Mr. Number that blocks the call and any voice mails they might try to leave. My phone blocked numbers but not voice mails, so I'm happy to have the voice mail option blocked as well. I'm on the Do Not Call list, but the blocking app seems to be more effective!

They called our office last evening at 6:31pm.  Who calls a business at 6:31 in the evening and does not leave a message?

Whatever - they are blocked forever...

Called and did not leave a vm.  They have called many times before and I labeled them a "Telemarketer" in my database.  Thankfully now iPhone offers a "Block this call" feature which I just did.

If you don't answer there are going to keep answering. The only way they will put you on the do not call list is 1) you curse at them 2) tell them the person don't live there or work there anymore 3) answer no to the 1st 2 questions the survey ends there. Hope this helps a bit.

Problem is these guys sold my phone number to a bunch of oil investment marketers.  I can't block them because it is someone new calling each time.  Bay Area doesn't call me, but the hundreds of people they sold my number to are relentless.  I'm on the DNC registry, but it doesn't seem to matter.

I keep getting calls from this number twice a week for months and months. No one is ever on the other end of the line.
I call back and no one answers.

I must say that this is the longest thread for a number on 800notes that I have ever seen.

I received a single ring hangup from this number.  Calling the number back simply confirms that your number is working and insures that you will get a bizillian more scam calls.

Hey if you guys have such busy lives that can't be interrupted by a phone call, how come you have so much time to go online and [***] about how you're not smart enough to tell a caller to take your name of the list?
