What makes you think verifacts gets on this website.

What makes you think they would honor your request to stop calling you if they did come on this website.
They do not read messages from idiots like you.

Complain to your congressman, state attorney general, federal trade commission, consumer financial protection bureau or the better
    business bureau.

Get a physical street address from them,  PHYSICAL address   NOT , and I repeat NOT a   P.O. Box

Send them a first class letter by    CERTIFIED MAIL , RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED. Telling them to STOP calling you, stop calling neighbors, stop calling your place of employment, STOP calling your relatives.

TELL THEM IF THEY NEED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH YOU ABOUT ANY ALLEGED DEBT --   TO DO IT BY MAIL ONLY !!!!
You can bet if they are calling around to check up on you__ you can bet they are calling anyone but not limited to the above listed people.

Called my place of employment that i have been at less than a year, saying they worked with banks and insurance companies. Knew my birthday, and my full name. I asked that they specifically do not contact me at work and gave them my cell phone number. It was so embarrassing and I had to get a little assertive in front of my boss.

Nobody from there could use your picture on linked in, this company has contacted me to confirm my residential information and I'm glad they did. I have moved a lot and when I gave them my newest address I got served papers I never would have gotten if they didn't call. If I had never gotten them I could have a warrant out for my arrest or a law suit against me. They do work for banks and insurance companies and are looking for people that OWE MONEY. So if you owe money they're going to get you. Debt collectors pay them to get their money back. You can't run forever. This is their JOB. So if you owe money stop being idiots and saying they're scummy because maybe you should learn how to pay your dues

You do not have to have applied for anything for this place to call you. You owe money to someone somwhere, whether it be student loans credit card loans or child support. It's not a scam. They are a big agency and this is their job. They are not debt collectors but they work for them. Stop being scum and pay your damn bills. Everything they do is LEGAL. They prevented me from getting sued by a credit card company. Keep [***] around with money and it's going to bite you in the ass people

Sorry, but your story sounds like a fairy tale to me.  But you can give us the name of the company suing you, their address, and the lawyer's name and BAR number.  None of which is personally identifiable.  You see the reason your tall tale sounds so unbelievable is that process servers do not call ahead.  Ever.  Now I know you would like to have us believe that they called you to ask where you lived, but if they have your phone number they could find you.  Anxiously awaiting your reply to see if you are simply a shill for this criminal enterprise or not.

I received a call not too long ago from this company. I'm going through a lot I'm filing bankruptcy and stuff. They were confirming residential info. I confirmed everything no questions asked. Looked this company up and spoke to my lawyer about it. Everything they do I 100% legal. If they don't tell you what company wants your info it's because legally they can't. That company wants to contact you themselves and chances are they already have multiple times and haven't reached you. If this company is calling you, you owe something so stop running from your money problems. I got served very important papers not to long after they contacted me. I needed to give those papers to my lawyer for my bankruptcy. They are legit. It's not a scam. They work for debt collectors and they are doing their job. You can't run forever. I know identity theft is a huge issue but they don't want your info, they HAVE IT they just want to make sure it's right because that's what they have to do.

Yeah, considering the post is in the middle of the thread I'm thinking that "Laney" is just another post and run shill, too cowardly to answer the questions.  Sort of like when little kids throw a rock or a ball and the window breaks, they run and hide, and that is what "Laney" will do.

Laney (or should I say troll), I see you are discussing your alledged bankruptcy on this page, yet on the previous page you are scodling a consumer who posted a complaint by saying
    Quote:
Stop being scum and pay your damn bills.
Isn't that a bit unduly judgemental coming from someone who filed bankruptcy?

Hey, you low life troll -- you are calling people scummy idiots for not paying non-existent debts, yet on page 8 of this thread you state

    Epic Failure!

You confirmed your information with some random caller and didn't ask any questions?! How stupid! You have NO idea if this is a legitimate company or not. If you're going through bankruptcy you should have had them call your lawyer to handle this.

Uhm yes! Why? Because not paying my damn bills got me into this mess! So therefore I know why these people called me and I'm not running anymore. I'm owning up obviously.

God, I hate obvious shills. You know, the ones who say things like "Everything they do I 100% legal" while assiduously concealing the name of this great, "legit" company. If they were really legit the first thing you would have mentioned is their name and contact information.

I'll admit that I did call that person scum for [***] that I did too but I'm definitely not proud of letting myself be that bad I was in over my head and I screw up and now I'm paying the priceS. Being in debt is a terrible feeling

i have no idea what they can and can't do but judging by what I've read they obviously legal if they a re still here right? AlsoI have no idea if them calling me had anything to do with my bankruptcy bit it just link everything to that now  All I know is they didn't actually ask me for anything they did give it to me. I have people calling me actually asking for my info and thos are the people i wouldn't give it to.. It is imperative to be cautious of these things most defiantly just watch for signs of legitimacy and scams
