I am on the do not call registry but that does not stop these people from illegally harrassing me with calls to my cell phone at all hours of the day and night. They claim to be from an "Award Verification Center."

are you serious?  u actually went to the meeting and won something?  are you saying it's not a scam?

SAME CONTEST!!!! exact same prizes to and it seems to good to be true but then again you dont know until you try :/ so i think i will go but im takin my dad with me

This number has called me many times since 12/1/11 with "Unknown" caller ID name and either this number or 817-525-1024 as the number.  Never leaves a message at all.  I do not ever answer unknown calls, especially from 800 numbers and will never do so unless they leave a detailed message.  My number is in the "Do not call Registry".  I'm going to block this number on my phone.

I've received like 20 calls in the last four days from this number. Because of the messages I've seen on this forum, I have not answered. I do not have call block and would like them to stop calling!

I received a call on January 18, 2012 at around 11.30  from: 817-522-5885 and asked had I filled up a form
in Square Mall and I replied I had filled up a form before couple of month. The lady told me that I am a winner of reward and invite me to pick up the reward either Thursday or Friday at 10.30 AM. The reward would be awarded after 90 minutes Presentation at 190 Meadow street, South Lee MA 01260. And asked to accompany spouse if married. When I searched the caller tel on Google search engine I found so many comments.................

they call about 8 times a day. yes i filled out a paper at a mall but i told them not to even call me with that crap.. i told them that im not interested i know what this is already about she wouldnt stop talkign i even told her i was working out and to call tomorrow she constantly kelp talking. she even got far enough to have me visit lake conroe in which i told her no again and not to call anymore. she continued once again aand all i wanted her was to LISTEN and OVERSTAND Ii wasnt interested i told her no days where good for me because i wasnt interested. then she went on and started catching a attitude like if i was wasting ehr time. i told her not to call again and she act as though she never heard me. these people are crazy..so may peopel fall for it. once someone says they actualluy recieved a marcedes,gas card or a vacation..i will call it a scam

Mom got a call from this number and they never left a message. Now I know it's probably a scam.

Same thing for me.  They didn't even have my name right - they asked for someone else and when I said that they had the wrong number they said their database goes by numbers, not names so I was still eligible for those prizes.  Sounds a little shady to me so I said no thank you and hung up.

this number actually called my uncle telling him he had won a prize either 49 mill or some car all we had to do was go to the meeting and so own i got tired of them talking so i just hung up the phone. He had signed up for a drawing at the northwest mall a wild back . i was curious so i looked up the number  and here i am now

Everyone, this is probably related to a timeshare you attended in the past. Just hang up

I am getting calls from this number

Callings constantly 2-3 times a day and no darn message

They got my number from a registration at a bridal show.   They called 2-3 times in one day and left no message.  After googling the number and figuring out who they were, I simply called them back and started the conversation by asking what the name of the company was, and then requesting that they immediately remove me from their call list.    I haven't gotten a call since, and this was a week ago... so far so good.  

I don't get why people let this crap go on for days or weeks on end, and end up feeling harassed.   Seriously, calling and removing my number took all of 30 seconds.

BTW, this number is from the "Awards Verification Center" of Silverleaf Resorts, a high-pressure sales pitch time-share company.   I've got friends who have had the misfortune of dealing with them before, and it went all the way to lawsuits, wherein settlements and gag orders ensued.   That right there should tell you something!

Same number calls about 5 times a day and today in the mail they said I won a car or 1500 cash for going on a tour of there resort in Galveston. I set up an tour and am going tomorrow If I don't get something for going I'm going to take a piss on the front door lol. I've never Fallin for stuff like this in the past but u never know.  Will post again tomorrow and let y'all know how it went

Figure it is because I filled out some stupid form to win a car at Six Flags. I live in the area code so I called. They answered on second ring and I requested they remove me from their list. They said sure, got my number, verified my name, and said they would...we will see. They were very pleasant and I blocked the number anyway...my bad for filling out a sweepstakes/prize form. I no do that no more!!!!!

Received two calls today, but I do not answer unknown numbers. After reading the other postings, I remember my husband filling out one of these cards at the mall not to long ago.
I will block this number right away.
