I receive calls from this number daily. They first were calling my cell phone, but since I won't answer to them, they are calling my house number. They just called 3 times within a 15 min time period!!! I filled out a report to the FCC immediately. This is ridiculous.

    It's spam.

Started a day ago and I've had 4 calls from separate numbers in 2 days.

Block it and get on with your life.

I gave these people my information at a Bridal expo. The representative was very pushy and shady at his booth and almost tricked me into signing up right then and there. They kept my information after I said I wasn't interested. Big mistake. Ever since, I've been getting various calls from the same area code in Arlington (even though I'm from the Chicago area.) They never leave a message and always call while I'm at work. I always block them when I see that area code. The calls have become less frequent, but they still happen every now and then.

Bottom line: it's a scam. Just block them. Bunch of shady timeshare imbeciles.

Just people having nothing better to do than to call 24 hours a day and harassing people that aren't stupid enough to give out information or fall for a scam. My message to the scammers, NOBODY LIKES YOU AND GET A LIFE!!!!!

I've been to two presentations from silver leaf. Both at the Villages resort by Tyler, Tx. They really do give you the gifts they promise and a gift card to cover gas.  Understand that of the four prizes you will get the trip 99.99% of the time and airfare is typically not included, though there are some trips that do include it.  We just went to the presentation last week and we got a two night stay at great wolf lodge,  the 5 night trip to Aruba, Hawaii, or Jamaica,  ( no airfare), the gift card for gas,  and $300 worth of resturant.com gift cards for sharing friends phone numbers (use fake numbers because they do not verify anything but give you the cards immediately). The presentation is 90 minutes,  they do try hard to sell the timeshare to you,  but it's not hard to just say no a few dozen times.  Tell them you can afford it but just do not want it and they hound you much less. Our great wolf lodge stay is worth at least 600 dollars and that was worth 90 minutes to us even if we don't pay the airfare for  the trip.

I got this.  Im gonna go on Sunday. Im not stupid. Im a well educated woman & I'm not greasy. They promised me 2 prizes without having to give any credit card information or buy anything if I sit there for 90 minutes.  Worse case me & my bridesmaid have a few laughs. Call your phone providers & have them block the number.  Isn't that easier than stressing?

This is Silverleaf Resorts, there is a class action lawsuit currently being pursued against them due to there calling practices. See website...http://www.consumer-classactions.com/investig ... CFYI7Mgod0kAAKQ

I have communicated with the law firm via phone and email. Basically you probably filled out a slip to win something at an event. I remember doing this to win a truck about 8 months ago. I do not remember being told about any opportunity for a Timeshare. The law firm did tell me that there is a Federal Law that if I can prove I did not consent to be contacted that I can be awarded up to $1500.00 per phone call since they are in violation of several FCC laws.

Per the law firm's website they call from multiple numbers such as: 817.522.5885, 682.808.5321, 866.804.8589, 817.525.1024, 800.720.5621. This is not a complete list, but I have gotten calls from all these numbers at least twice per number. I'm hoping the fine print on the form I filled out doesn't cover there [***] and it works in my favor.

This # has called 3x today so far. Never leaves a message. I haven't filled out any kind of sweepstakes card or anything like others have posted, so don't know how they got my #.

Got a call, didn't answer, no message.  But now that you mention it, Silverleaf Resorts and the whole, 'win a free trip' thing does sound familiar.  I'm pretty sure that is what is going on here.  Thanks for jogging my memory

Howdy all. You guys should count yourselves lucky. At least you all seem to live in America so I guess you are reasonably close to the action, so to speak. We are from the mighty land of Oz so you could say we are a bit more at risk if we got sucked in. I took a call on my wife's mobile phone from some bird called Yvonne who was looking for another person but somehow found us. She then said we would be ideal candidates. I said are you sure you aren't from the Gold Coast (similar scam thing in Queensland) which is similar to what you seem to have there, some lameduck TimeShare thing. I agree with some of you emailers, turn the spotlight and harass them while you can! Have a good one

Rang 3 times.  Left no VM.  Researched the number.  Added to block list never to be bothered from them again.  They get ONE chance per number and then unceremoniously moved to the 'silent ringtone' file.

MKE Auto Show entry.  Told to my face no solicitation of information and no third hassle.  Calls from 817 522 5885 in Arlington TX are relentless.  Next step is for me to get everyone to call them repeatedly.  Frustrated in Badger state.
