I actually used to work for this company many years ago, but have never attended.
As the telemarketer we were required to take your number off the calling list ONLY if you say the words "Take me off your call list". If you say "Stop calling" etc then they wont because you didnt officially say to be taken off the call list. Just fyi so you can answer those calls & tell them & they are required to. Should hopefully stop the calls.

Your former employer violated the law with that policy. A request to stop calling should have the same weight as a request a add one's number to an internal no-call list .... which by the way a sales call center must maintain per the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Technically a "take off the list" demand doesn't work, in part because of the TSR and in part because some junky callers have no prospect list to begin with. A really stubborn caller should be shut up with a cease-comm letter, sent USPS Certified with return card, which puts a $1500 TCPA price tag on each call which follows.

They are a timeshare company.
They tell you to just show up to their resort for a short tour of the place and in the end you will get your gift.
It's a scratch off and you never win the car or the $49,000 cash.
You win the the resort stay or cruise, but you have to end up paying like min $300 for deposits and such, so you actually end up spending money and get nothing free. You can't even really chose the date you want to go, they have specific dates available only.
Not worth it.

I don't accept calls from numbers that i don't know.

Received a call from this number 06.08.12, 11:58am, Dallas TX. No clue; didn't answer, no vm left First time I've seen this number pop up, but I've been getting a lot of telemarketing calls lately, despite being on the DNC list. Caller ID showed up as SILVERLEAF RESO; area code is local.

just received a call from them. they said they were a "sweepstakes company" and I had won a prize..a contest that I had entered ...

really..I have entered a contest in 20 years.

I said I would call back and they asked for my name..I wouldn't give them any information and they said they had to register the call..this went back and forth about three times before I asked for the person's name and I hung up.!!

Ater receiving numerous calls, I called Sprint and had them block the number from calling my phone....let's see what happens.

I just ripped the lady on the other end a new one.  They are Very persistent and rude rude rude so I didn't feel one ounce of regret or sorrow when I returned the tone.  I started out nice but she kept pushing.  I told them to take me off their calling list and she kept repeating, "I understand, ma'am, we're just trying to get you your reward."  They want 90 minutes of my time on a Thursday or a Friday, but they have weekends available, too.  Oh, and don't try playing the small children card - they're family friendly.  Every nice way I tried to get off the phone was met with another workaround.  She even argued with me about how long it would take me to drive to New Braunfels for their presentation.  I even tried fibbing by telling her I didn't have transportation - she just tried a different date.  Are you kidding me?!

Since my demand to remove me from their calling list was ignored by her, I finally had to hang up.  When I get away from my desk so I can speak freely, I'll call them back to ensure they never call me again.  The next time I'll cut to the chase and skip the nice part when they ask me to fill out their entry form.  Must stop being so nice to sales people when I don't want what they're peddling!

PS:  If you Do have small children, have some fun with it.  Put the kiddo on the phone and enjoy!

I have never answered this number but they have been calling me for the last two months, sometimes up to three times a day.  Does anyone know how to stop them?

My cell # and home phone are registered with the national DO NOT CALL registry, yet these clowns still manage to get away with it...gotta be a migrate in there somewhere

They are trying to sell you a time share.

I am with you.  I am almost positive it will be a hard pitch sales of something.  But like they say you can get blood from a turnip.  So i think 90 min of my time is worth $500.

Go this call. Did not ask or complete any drawings, surveys, or etc in order to have this company call me.

A woman keeps calling from this number and asking for James.  No James here.  Asked them to quit calling.  Finally had to block the number.

its a satellite communications company they are used for many types of services from honest buisiness like homeland security operations,military,even some crooked people can use this services like maybe a bad cop  to track somebody they want dead for some money. all kinds of stuff . i have no idiea why they wanna tap my phone .honest to God only think i can think about is that i bought a laptop on the street that was stolen from a bank .(i found out later on from someone with connections in the streets)

receive at least one call every single day from this number. same with another very similar number.
