I have received/multiple calls a day from this numbr...  no messages or anything...
I almost feel harassed...  have gotten calls at 2am!  All times of the day.
What can I do to stop it???

Only "California" on Caller Id and no response when we answer.

Getting calls from 818-591-8391 twice a day.  I would love to tell them to stop calling but no one is on the line when I pick up.  Sooo frustrating.

Please stop calling.  I don't care who you are, I will not give you my money.  Thank you, and good night.

It is from Harris Direct, a company that fundraises for other organizations.

this number calls daily, but when I answer, nobody talks.  Caller ID says it is M Harris.

At 8:30 PM a man with a English or Irish accent called my home. He was already talking when I picked up and called me by my first name. He was shouting and I picked up on "Doctors Without Borders". I have donated to "Medecine Sans Frontiers" in the past. He mentioned that it was late and asked if he should call back later. I said not later or ever.

I forgot to mention that he called himself Joseph Mandela.

I just called their nbr and it was Harris Direct.  There was a recording, nicely,  stating that they would add me to their do not call list if I left my nbr.  Hopefully this will work.

Have received numerous calls from this number.  No one talks directly, but I can hear laughter and talking in background.  Annoying.

I've been getting this call 2 or 3 times a day during the week, never weekends, for about a month now.  I've never answered, just decided to google it, and found this page.

Harris Direct calls me every day.  When I answer the phone, no one is there.
How do I stop this??!!
I'm very tired of it.

They are a telemarketer specializing on not-for-profits. Obviously, there is a lot of money to be made by fleecing non-profits!

And since not-for-profits do not have to adhere to no-call lists, we are simply stuck. Write to the organization that you have supported in the past and let them know that you will not donate again until they remove you from this calling list. If we would all do that, it would stop. Ahh, the power of people.....

I just called Jim Harris: 818-222-3470 ext 102 and left a voice mail asking them to stop calling me. Please do the same. Maybe they'll even put an unsubscribe on their website if his inbox is full all the time!

As others have reported, I have received multiple calls from the 818-591-8391, identified by caller ID as "Harris, M". The caller doesn't appear to represent Doctor's Without Borders or anyone else other than themselves. I just got a curious postcard today asking me to verify that I was indeed a graduate of a local Van Nuys high school and giving me a number for the "Alumini Hotline." Odd, since I'm from the East Coast and moved to LA a couple of years ago. However, way down in the left hand corner of the postcard, in tiny print, it says "(copyright symbol) Harris Connect, LLC.VDX.1.0"

always suspicious of 800 numbers didn't pick up the phone

A  call came in from 818-591-8391 Was identified as Harris Direct.  Claimed to be head of Democratic National committee and wanted support to repeal Health Care Bill?????  I hung up!

We are getting daily unwanted calls from 818.591.8391.  They identify themselves as Harris Direct.

I specifically said on a couple of occasions that after a donation, I did not want to be on any call, mail, or email list...I will not donate again.
