Mark Daniels with MAC..says I need to make a final payment on my account in order to close it out. Then said if I do not return call, they will take it as a refusal and file papers with my county.

Scam. Everyone reporting this # and 844385692 as scam calls.

That's funny. I got the same exact message. Word for word. Even the same exact account number. Tell me that ain't a scam

From Mark Daniels and Brandon Shaw. I called them back twice and they told me it was for a loan I took out and never paid back. This is a scam, trying to scare you with litigation proceedings. I never took a loan out with the company they stated or any loan in the year they stated. Checked my bank account and no deposits from a loan company for that year either! Don't waste your time, don't let them scare you, it's BS!

This Mark Daniel loser is a scam artist.  No collector can threaten to file anything against you in a county.  A collector is legally allowed to leave their name and number and request a call back.  Period.  Then you can request for them to validate the debt by sending you a letter and requesting that they communicate with you only by mail.  They don't want to comply with any of these lawful practices.  So yes, they are fake and fraudulent.  You all be well and tell these scammers that their practice violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and you can report them to the Federal Trade Commission.

Mark Daniels from m a c. Had a filing and would like to settle this matter today.or paper work would be filed in my county.Gave a file number and phone number.i didn't call back

I get a call everyday about 5 to 7 times a day. I never answer. It's a person named Mark Daniels calling from MAC about a payment being returned. I also get text messages of being threatened if I don't answer.
I had enough and decided to call back and gave him a piece of my mind. He had the audacity to tell me to calm the f down. It was quite hilarious. I'm sure he won't call again.

I get phone calls and voicemails almost daily.  They change up the number sometimes usually it’s the Marc Daniels but I have gotten Betty As well. He says I own some payday loan, I have also been told a reason they called or die to a transaction in my bank account. Its to the point I’m just about to change my number which I have had for yeeeeaaaarrrrrrrrsssssss.  They text me sometimes and say they don’t receive text and say the same stuff. It’s ridiculous… 😡
