I found a charge for $45 in my account, I went to the bank and then I called the 800 number here. I got my $45 refund within three days. They were good about it. I was in ICU at the hospital when it was supposed be taken out of my account via routing number not sure what happened here. I will still be watching my account .

We had 1 cent deposited to our checking account at our bank. Didn't pursue why. Within 2 or 3 days we had what would have been a recurring charge of  $45.00 per month on same. Ecloud meant nothing to us, called our bank, found that eCloud had used our routing AND account # and showed  the "Chase." We had to close our lifetime bank, notify all who are auto pay from that account, which bluntly has been a pain the ASS. Ecloud is not getting any money from us and I am telling everyone I know to watch for this.

"Ecloud" gained access to my checking account and posted a .01 cent credit to test their access. This is the phone number on the transaction notation. Then they emailed a few days later to notify me they would soon begin autodrafting a $45 monthly subscription fee when my "30-day free trial" ended. I never signed up for any services from this company or visited their website (I don't even know what services they offer). I called my bank and they recommended that I place a hold on my account immediately and open a new one. This was not a debit card skim, they had my account and routing number. Strongly advise all others who discover similar activity to close the affected account immediately...your account access is compromised and may be fraudulently charged or sold to another scammer.

It may not be a card skim. Your bank can tell you if it was related to your card or if the scammers have your checking acct and routing number. If they do, you'll need to close the account and open a new one. It's a real pain :(

Same thing just happened to me - $45 electronic check was debited from my checking account. I should note that I applied for online bank accounts with both Simple Bank and Memory Bank last week and gave them my routing and account number so I'm guessing my information was compromised through one of their systems.

Like everyone else, Today I was doing my bi-weekly review of our checking account and saw a 1 cent transaction from ECloud Secure and then 10 days later had a charge of $45 from an electronic check.  Called the 844-254-0040 number.  After about 20 seconds after explaining I didn't made these charges, the phone call "disconnected".  I called again, told me the account was created from an email I haven't used in about 6 months now.  Was told I would receive a refund in 4 to 6 days.  Yeah, right.  Next call immediately was to the bank (local bank with WONDERFUL customer service) to put a hold on all transactions.  The next morning I was at the bank closing that account, opening a new one, disputing the charge on the old account, then to the sheriff's department to file a fraud report.  Folks, don't wait for a "refund".  This is just a delay tactic to try to give them time to issue another charge for services, or worse empty your account.

Same thing here. Got a .01 deposit. This is so that the scammers can tell if your account is active. Then a $45 charge a week later. My bank confirmed that it was done through my account and ACH routing number so someone has gotten access to my acct information. Basically anyone who has a check you've written or a deposit slip you might have left lying around. Or if you gave your info to say a gym membership or a cell phone company or any recurring withdrawals, your info could have been stolen. It's going to be a real pain but to get the best results its a good idea to close your account and open a new one. And I do 95% of my bill paying online. Even to the odd dental or other non monthly bill. I pay it through my banks online bill pay. What a pain to change an account that I've had for years. But it's not as bad as the $1000's my g/f lost several years back. Most banks will work with you on stop payment charges. If not, you might want to change banks.

I just had this happen today. Obviously after researching I notice this has been going on for years. How is this company getting away with this. They have been stealing people's money for years and the BBB or no one does anything about it. They need closed down. I am hoping to see my money in 4 to 6 business days.

Where do people get this idea that the BBB is this "all powerful" entity that can shut businesses down and send the perps to jail?

Same thing just happened to me - $45 electronic check was debited from my checking account and setup by "ecloud" for automatic withdrawals.  I have NEVER heard of "ecloud", and certainly never authorized any transaction for any of their "services" whatever those might be.  TOTAL SCAM!  Just called my bank, told them it was a fraudulent, disputed  charge (which my bank will refund) and my bank advised that I close my account and open a new account.  Pain in the neck.  "Ecloud" needs to be investigated by the appropriate law enforcement agency and SHUT DOWN!!!!

I just found this $45.00 charge from ECloud 8442540040 webpurchase taken from my account. I looked it up and found this site with all your comments as I had no idea what this charge was for. I do not have anything that is Apple related never have and never will. I never received a phone call from this number I checked all call history on my phone. When I called they had my banking information,  of course since they took the 45.00, and sd they would cancel the order and refund the 45. Within 3 to 6 days. I got a confirmation  number and the gentleman's name and he was very polite. So I'm hoping that I will receive my refund. What scares me is I did not get a call, but I did place an order of clothes with a company called Berrylook the day before, which I have never done before and i paid for express shipping to be delivered witin 3 to 6 days. It has now been over 15 days after the express shipping deadline and no clothes. I do believe they are affiliated. So BEWARE OF BERRYLOOK CLOTHING WOMEN. AND HAS ANYONE RECIEVED THEIR REFUND? Now I'm going to investigate my missing $150+ clothes and express shipping fees. Oh, Boy😔

Thank you for you post. I just found an automatic withdrawal ECloud 45.00 charge for the month of August. I never got a call though like these others.  I started looking at other months and now have found the first charge in July from a check with all my financial banking information,  routing and account info. The check looks like it came from me personally for 45.00. I do believe it's how I pay my Chase Credit Card as I saw that in your post. So thank you. Hope to get my money back.

Same as everyone else.  It has to be a total scam.  I have never heard of a e-cloud anything.  Some person named Jason got on the phone and said they would credit my 45 back and cancel my account.  That was this afternoon  9/03 .  The same person proclaiming to be "Jason" said he was the supervisor and would refund my money.  I received a email from him stating it would be refunded in 3-5 days.  We will see.  This really bothers me because the account they debited I never use it's a saving account.  I never set up anything to debit from this account.

They debited my checking account for $45.00 in May, June, July and August.  I phoned them and demanded they refund the $180.00 they took and to remove any information they had about me.  They credited my checking account the same day for $135.00 but I am still out $45.00. No luck trying to get reimbursed for that.   I filed a complaint with the FTC .  If they get enough complaints maybe the will do something about it.

Same story here ! Noticed a 1 cent credit to my account from ECloud first week in September but didnt follow up at that time...my bad. Yesterday i saw a $45.00 unauthorized charge to my account. Immediately called my bank who informed me it had been done through the routing and account number. They told me the charge had my name referenced on it, so they couldnt really dispute the charge until i called ECloud. Which i immediately did, and "Jason" apologized, said he cancelled my file and monthly subscription ??  and a refund would appear within a week. I made my bank aware of this and if no refund appears within the week, i was told to notify the bank, So we'll see. I want to know how they got my bank account information...possibly through PayPal ? I use it rarely but sometimes do make online purchases with it. Has anyone actually received their refund ?
