Comenity Bank for a credit card payment.

This number calls my cell number and my parents home number. Sick of it. Do I just ignore it or call and give them a piece of my mind?

This number keeps calling my parents house asking for me using my maiden name (which has not been that last name for over 18 years).  You can barely understand the accent and they will not stop calling.  What should we do to get them to stop?

We keep getting same phone messages on our home phone (so tired of whatever scam they are trying to have people fall for).  Do they really think we're that stupid??!!  I just need to find out how to get their number blocked so they can't call us anymore.

I keep getting calls for 2 different people and I don't even have a Victorias Secret credit card. They just called on new years day! They leave messages to hurry and it's so important to return tge call.

I received a call from this number but I apparently answered too late as it went to voicemail. The man spoke with an American accent but mumbled. I couldn't understand the name he said or what company he was calling on behalf of; all I could make out was that he requested a call back at the same number and that it was urgent.

Um, no, if it were urgent, they'd be calling my home phone and speaking clearly.

I received a call from this number just a few minutes ago. The woman asked to speak to "Nilda Amara" (at least, that's what it sounded like). No mention of what company she was with or who she was, either. I told her there was "no one here by that name. Please don't call this number again." That's my standard response to these idiots who keep calling looking for, well, not me.

Constant voicemails from 855-497-8174, asking that we return their call to 844-271-2551, "before it's too late."

Received several calls from this number. They never leave a message. If it is not important enough to leave a message, they can call one hundred times and I won't answer. Love the "block caller" on my iPhone.

This lady's name is Tara with community bank. She said she won't to help me with what she didn't say only that my time was running out.

Received a call about a payment that was 4 months past due.Rep was courteous. I imagine the too late was so that it doesn't get sent to collections.

Caller looking for Jean. Asked caller what # was she calling. She stated "your number ending in 5554." Very annoying call. This caller represents Comenity Bank for a credit card payment ! She would not reveal anything to me because I was not Jean ! I told caller when asked about Jean that I would like to know who she is so I could tell her to stop giving my number out ! ! !

I've received several calls from this number over a period of a couple of months recently asking for a neighbor's daughter who doesn't even live in the state. I have to wonder is "she" isn't giving out my phone number as hers because its too coincidental that I know her and they know my phone #... hmmm  Same here Kate, they're looking for, well, not me either.

I've received several blocked calls and this number too.  Message was left to call some Miss someone.  I called back and they wanted me to verify who I was and when I would not they wouldn't help me.  I called back not using the extension given and that person would also not help me unless I gave her my number ss number etc.  I googled number and saw scam scam scam.  I also saw it was a debt collector.  I don't even have any credit cards.  I grew concerned that someon opened a card in my name.  I checked my credit report and no such thing.

One has to wonder why these allegedly “legit” companies need so many phone numbers to call people with.
Seems to be a frequent flyer in these pages with a very bad reputation.  Be advised that they are not subject to the FDCPA since they are the creditor.  They may however be subject to state laws.

They must be paying big bucks to the BBB for that.  Note, the BBB has suddenly removed all the complaints and ratings for this bunch of criminals.  Now that must have cost some real money.

The correct name of the caller is Comenity Bank.

Numerous calls everyday, sometimes they leave a message. Our only credit card is from our local bank. I check almost daily and my card is paid on time. I have blocked numerous numbers from COMENITY.  This is harassment, they should be in jail!!

Well I know I owe Comenity but I have signed up for debt relief instead of Filing for bankruptcy and I have emailed them sent letters talked to them and they call all day long I am not answering I have given you the number for the company I am working with.  It is either get some money or no money with bankruptcy.
