Same as above. Caller says he lodged a formal complaint against some one and wants information on their whereabouts. This has gone on for about a week. I never answer but the last time they called they left a message that said the proper authorities were going to be called if they did not receive full cooperation. This really sounds like a scam and I would not advise anyone to answer calls from this #.   This caller stated his name  was Mark Wallace but never said what company or firm he was calling from.

Never picked up, let it go to voice mail and it sounds like they're looking for a Derek Sanni (automated creepy voice) then it goes back to the regular voice. Scam, scam, scam!

They started calling my Father In-Law telling him there's a complaint filed against me and to have me call them back. I know it was weird because, (1) I have NEVER used his info on ANY of my personal/financial situations. (2) If, I owe ANYBODY, obviously they know where to find me, no need to contact any family members!  Today, they called him again and left this number... (844)369-0788. Then I decided to Google the number and I see all these reviews...  TOTAL SCAM!!!!

Never heard of them the caller is like a voice disguise and a real low and slow recording like an old tape recorder from years ago to disguise one's voice. I was going to call but i never ever gave them my number and or Information.

I've been getting the calls for a long time now. When I first got the call he had a lot of my information from about 12 years ago. I told him to email me all the documents so I could review them and he said that he was not going to do that and then I cussed him out. Full of $***!! He lost his and started yelling at me. I hung up!! SCAM!!
Then the company started changing but the same voice mails. I've called back to talk to someone and the number just hangs up. This is just ridiculous.
I've blocked every number they've called me from and they keep calling.

Received a call on my cell phone from this number, looking for someone with the same last name.  Stated they were going to call the proper authorities.  I wish they would.... then, maybe a business such as this would be shut down.  I called the number back and it was to Coastal Financial.  When I asked for their corporate address, I was hung up on 3 times.

Received 1 call per day for 4 days (so far)- same MO as already stated by others. I called back on a different phone and told the person who answered that I had no idea what this was about- they promptly hung up.

Guy named Mark Wallace called my husband, left a voicemail with my name automated in. Husband calls them back and they won't give you any details except that it's financially related.

The way that works is the caller wants to scam you out of money, and figures if they let you in on the details, you might not be so easy to trick.
This is an opening move by a phony debt scammer.  A phone call is not legal notice of a debt.  Do not call back or interact in any way, otherwise they keep calling, harassing and then threaten you.

Someone called me and said there was a crime complaint against me called back and nothing!

They have even calling me the last 2 claiming a formal complaint has been made against me. Until I called back no information was given. It was an automated voice. I called and the first lady told me good luck on court and hung up the second lady says I apparently got 2 $750 loans that I never paid back.. 1sr of all I would love to know where $1500 dollars was because I've never seen a dime. She wanted me to set up a payment plan or I would have to go to court I'm Definately thinking this is a scam. Ive never heard of them or the place that Supposedily loaned me money.

I've called this number because they also left me a message saying a complaint has been filed. When I ask questions they get defensive and either hang up or place me on hold. How do I go about reporting this scam

same as all the above, some man calling about a formal complaint and he is asking for someone I don't know. I tried calling back so he can remove my number just busy signal now. he says his name is Mark Wallace  and when he ask for this person its a robot, then he starts talking again.

Been getting these same calls and they are calling my family as well threatening . The other day he told my mom that she needed to give up the whereabouts of where I am. Seriously?

These are seriously bad people, and they will threaten family and call your workplace.  They will harass and threaten you to get you to pay a debt you do not owe.  As you can see, this is an active bunch of crooks.

Actually the DNC works reasonably well.  People and business are prosecuted under the DNC law all the time.  However it is meant as a guide to law -abiding telemarketers; it will not stop determined scofflaws and criminals.   Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
