Male caller saying he is "Mark Wallace" calling about a formal complaint that's been filed against one "Reginald St. Germain" and to contact their office immediately at (844)369-0788 and threatening to notifiy the authorities.... I have no idea who that is but I'd be very curious to know what their end game is and why they haven't been shut down with this many complaints against the #.

Caller (automated voice) said they were calling because of a formal complaint against me. Gave a callback # of 844-36-0788 to call back and speak to a Mr. Mark Wallace  to prevent legal actions from the authorities.

continuous phone  calls talking about formal complaint for someone who is the grown son of a friend of mine,

calling about a payday loan. Have no idea what they are referring to i  did not call back.

Calls repeatedly staying he is calling in reference to a formal compliant about one Daryl Scott.  No clue who this person is.

Sometimes uses the CID of “Coastal Litigation” or Coastal Pre-litigations. Also using something called "Lakeside Mediations"  and "Legal Review Services as their CID.  Also “First Point”.  There are several groups with the letters CFS in them.
May now IDing themselves as “Western”.   Also may be using a CID of WNL.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

Note that the US Supreme Court in the Case of HENSON ET AL. v. SANTANDER CONSUMER USA INC., has recently ruled that the provisions of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act do not apply if the creditor owns the debt in question.  As a practical matter this probably won't effect the kinds of scam debt collectors who often show up on 800notes.  The scam collectors don't give you any information about themselves so it is impossible to know whether or not they in fact "own" the debt in question.  Most do not send debt validation letters and many often say they are collecting for someone else.  So, make the complaint anyway if they are bothering you.  Let the FTC sort it out.

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking).   the only thing they understand.

keep getting these calls about a formal complaint from a Michael Wallace.  How do we get them to stop?????  I've been getting them daily.

I get a call every week from this number for a shane wright. I t is a threatning call from a male .

Caller from 8443690788, left voicemail about a complaint filed against me. It was a man with a slight southern accent with a robotic voice saying the name. Clearly a scam. The second time he called, I answered and immediately stated that I was recording our conversation for an ongoing investigation. He hung up and I haven't heard from the number since.

They are a scam told my daughter his name was mark Wallace and that legal actions was being taken against me

I have asked them for over two years to stop calling , now they are calling my family member he said repeatedly 4 times . told him even if he knew who or where the person was he would not tell them. He was annoyed by the actions on the phone.  I really feel this is a scam going on too long. Now they have broken the law when two people tell them not to call and they repeat calling  . They have broken the law. then called the other number again . They are in for it.

Received an automated message from this number from "Mark Wallace" regarding my son (who is  14) and action that will be taken against him.  I had to laugh because the man's voice they used for the initial greeting was very firm and gruff.  Then the voice switched halfway through the message.  I called them back and a female answered (who I could barely hear) and mumbled something about a phone number.  When I told her that I wouldn't provide my number and that there was a message left about my minor son and that I was 100% sure they were scamming people out of money. She mumbled something else that I couldn't hear or understand.  I then told her that any further calls I would take legal action, which she replied "Do what you feel."  I then yelled at her for attempting to scam people out of money.  The call was disconnected.

this number was a return phone number given after we harassing phone call from an automated number I called the number and they keep making up their names for some reason they won't talk to you unless you're one of the people that they harassed if you call with a blanked out number they won't talk to you at all they want to know your phone number

Scammers names (lol) Fenton Martin... Amy Brown.. Chanel Brown not related to Amy though she says... Teresa who will not give out her last name... they will not give an address two of them told me Charles Town South Carolina report this to the FCC or call 888 382 7222

Same as everyone else.  Got several calls from this number threatening some kind of action against an Alan Little (not me).  This time the caller said his name was "Mark Wallace".  Caller tries to sound official, but the quality of the automation is so poor it absolutely has to be a scam.  Knowing this, I never call the number back.
