This is a scam.  There is no "formal complaint" pending against you.  The big tip off for me is that the person who left his name did NOT specify from where he is calling.  If it were an official entity (one with the actual authority to settle a formal complaint) then they'd tell you from where they were calling.  It's b.s. don't respond.  Don't engage. Disregard and Delete!!

Yep Mr. Wallace also called me today.  What a load of ***  Keep on wasting your time calling my cell phone that I never answer because I don't recognize the number.  Leave as many messages as you want.

My children have been called that I owe money for payday loan. That I closed the account after receiving the money. Well that is bull. After I got off the phone with them. I call the FCC IMMEDIATELY. Their response was not legit agency call to threaten. after an hour I myself received a call from this number. when I called back again they told me I should have not received a call because I put a dispute already.

Just got a call from this number saying that there was a formal complaint about me. People if it was a real complaint you would have received legal documentation. This is a scam If you ever took a payday loan and paid it back or even applied for one but did not take it then they have your information and are making up false cases to try to get money from you. Don't fall for it.

left a message saying a formal complant had or would be filed agaisnt my ex 844-369-0788 and when i called back there was an automatic answer and then music just played like i was on hold i called back twice (2 different numbers) and didnt reach a person

Automated call stating they had a "formal complaint" filed against my Ex and if I had any information about him to call back. Didn't find it necessary to call back

I got a call today, they left a message looking for my half brother. I have nothing to do with my half brother or our mother. I changed my number 9 months ago...NO ONE in my family has my number as I do not contact them. I think all of 10 people have my number and they have never even met my family, plus I moved across the country from my family. How the hell did they get my unlisted number? Go ahead and contact the authorities Mr. Wallace, I don't give a crap.

scumbag POS collection agency that does internet searches for possible "relatives" of people they are trying to locate. Numerous calls over last several months looking for my wifes ex from 13 years ago. You call the number they leave and it just goes to a trap line (traces where call comes from)

Doesn't matter how many times you change your number, they do internet searches for any possible relatives. They will call and harass people that have never even heard of the one their looking for if the name comes up in a search

No legal address, agent admitted it was a fraud after many phone calls. Please call back the number repeatedly to tie up their phones so they cant do it to others.  Have spare time, just hit redial and hang up after connecting.  If enough do, they will shut down

For the past two days, someone with a muffled voice called my mother's home number and my cellphone claiming to look for my whereabouts. I know this is a fraudulent scam and I demand that they stop calling me. Or I will be the one who is gonna notify the authorities for harassment.

Just retrieved a voicemail from this #. I live in Florida and the intimidating voice was looking for my sister in the northeast. This is really sad as it rattled me to the core at a time I am dealing with my elder dog, Magic, who just sustained a serious torn CCL. Decisions to make and to receive scary calls like this is basically, mental abuse. They did not identify themselves. Called Sis and she said it was a scam and was surprised I was unaware of it. I keep getting a call from this number for a Lindsey Moist having a formal complaint out against her. We have had this phone number since 1961. Never anyone by that name here. What can be done to stop these calls it is everyday

Automated debt collector call looking for info on someone who died in June 2010 -- over seven years ago.  Aside from that, the statute of limitations on debt in this state (Pennsylvania) is four years.

My brother rec'd a phone call saying they needed my information for a complaint they had against me. When he inquired they hung up on him. I called back to an 844 number (which isn't even an geographical area code) and was told a complaint was filed against me for a payday loan in 2008 that wasn't paid (I never had a payday loan). The woman who had an accent said that even if I was a victim of Identity theft I would still be responsible for the amount she said was owed. She was unable to provide their address her supervisor's name, the so called client's name or any other pertinent information. She said that she will start the process for the court proceedings. I told her I will see her in court. This company is a SCAM and it's a shame someone doesn't shut them down.

I got the same call today from Mark Wallace.

They left a message saying If I know of the whereabouts of a certain person to call 8443690788. The voice said the next step is to notify the proper authorities. It is not even me they are asking for.
