They  are calling  my  job i don't  no these people

Received a call  at 330 pm central . Asked for me by my name and I pretended to be someone else. I asked who she was and she said yolanda. I said I will  leave message. Yolanda preceded to tell me to call 844986545. I asked what reference  she said summit  receivables.  I called this number  AT 4 PM AFTWR DOING SOME RESEARCH,and a guy answered named Chris then said he was with summit. He wanted to collect a debt with beregerngers credit card. Told him I don't have one and where are they from. He wanted my birthday I said I was not giving it to him he should tell me that info and he said it was against the law to tell me that. Lol  then I said where is that company located. Chris said online company. Told him I don't do business on line. The said oh and hung up. BBb gives them a B RATING WITH 69 COMPLAINTS. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!! THE ELDERLY IS NOT COMPUTER OR INTERNET SAVY.  WHERE ARE THEY GETTING OUR NAMES AND PHONE NUMBERS?

925-357-9637 called. Left a pre-recorded message from Chelsea, Kelsey, or similar, saying they were glad to know I wanted to settle my debt. Of course, they don't mention what the debt is or whom they are actually trying to contact. They asked that I call 844-498-6545. They called themselves Summit Receivables and may actually be Summit Receivables because they did give the number for Summit Receivables that many are talking about in the 800notes messages about 844-498-6545.

Call said I need to call back immediately debt collectir

They keep calling my father about me, telling him ill be going to jail and they will be serving  me papers if he dont tell them how to get in touch with me.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

Recieved a call from a local number asking me to call this 844 number back. She stated her name was Tammy Smith and was trying to collect on a debt and the client was willing to give me an offer for paying in full. I immediately knew it was a scam. I know exactly who my debts are owed to and I'm current on all of them.

Such BS!  Your company is a well known scam company-- repeated FDCPA violations!  Charter revoked in many states! Ignore this scam company if they call you!

Wake up bill collector.   You people have been calling my phone for two years looking for another person.  And for two years, I've told them they're calling the wrong #.

The caller left a message that this was an attempt to collect a debt and this was a one time tax time settlement offer. Since I don't owe taxes I assume they are trying to scam me for the tax return I'm not getting because I WORK for a living.  I am also on the DNC registry and get calls like this 3 to 5 times a day.

(925) 309-8948 called and left a message from Summit Receivables, did not say who they were calling, but did say it is about debt collection and to call (844) 498-6545.

Caller left message from Summit Receivables, claiming that a payment had been returned by the bank.   I have never dealt with these people.   They are trying to get me to call them, possibly to just record my voice.   I don't buy it!   Be careful with these people.

Can you tell me how to find out if they are licensed to collect in the state of Indiana? Thanks!

You go to the Indiana website that lists licenses for debt collectors and enter the company name and it takes you to the listing that shows where they are licensed.

I got the same exact automated message but I've never actually spoken with anyone from there office. There not listed on any of my credit reports either sounds like a scam.

Called from 561-220-1153 but the voicemail told me to call 844-498-6545.
Debt collector.  Likely a scam as it called my office's business line.

8444983388 this number is a scam by fall for it. The government will not call you. They mail letters.
