Well, well, well. We have a registered Shill for Summit here. That's no surprise. You bottom-feeders are a desperate crew, aren't you?
No one who finds this site is going to be contacting you fools. They'll be ignoring your calls or blocking them. The braver ones will be answering your calls & DEMANDING a validation notice BY MAIL. You stooges won't comply with that demand & the smarter folks will know exactly how to deal with that. If one of your cubicle-clowns has a really bad day he, or she, will call someone in a "One-party state" & the call will be recorded. You cretins won't even be aware that the call was recorded until you've been served & become involved in settlement negotiations with a local attorney who is far greedier than any of you are. You dirt-bags certainly won't be wanting to try to defend yourselves in court. You're perfectly aware of what may happen there, aren't you?

Once was enough! There wss absolutely no need for you to reply to all those people with the same thing. If by doing so you thought it would prove the validity of your nonsense, you failed.

My screen name isn't "Jennifer".  If you do call me, the only "talking" that we will be doing is in front of a Federal Judge, so I would "govern yourself accordingly".

I like aloe in my soft soap. Yours is loaded with gravel and glass crumbs.

Making angry threats and legal theater as "ANONYMOUS / law enforcement officer / l e o / here" did not work here.

Taunting us and spreading bully propaganda as "obey / BILL COLLECTOR / JURNEE" did not work here.

Telling "Satisfied Victim" and "Shoulda Paid" ghost stories as "Teresa / John Stevenson / Mike Allen / Henry Santana" did not work here.

How far do you think your much belated plastic olive branch will reach? You lot have much more to answer for than some "wrong number" gripes. No one at home is solving their problems or changing your fundamental refusal to comply with Federal laws by doing exactly what you want, i.e. "Just call us and we'll fix it".

Summit Receivables. Caller ID showed 1-559-317-6785 but when she left her message she said to call 1-844-498-6545. Threatening with consequences for delinquent debt and to call back right away.

These people call everyday and are very rude. Asked them to contact me via US Postal Service and they refused and started yelling. Very unprofessional.

Got a call on my cell from a "John Gain" from Summit Receivables.  The call display number was a local one, but the call back number he left on my voice mail was 844-498-6545.  Wanted an immediate call back and to refer to the file number...except he never gave a file number.  He also called my work extension (which doesn't mention me by name) and left a message asking for my 'location.'

I've had a number of these types of things over the years.  From income tax owed to payday loans.  They get just enough of your personal information to sound plausible. They will attempt to scare you with suggestions like, "The sheriff is on his way to arrest you for fraud" and similar threats.  However, as suggested above, ask for documentation, in fact, insist on it.  When you do, they'll likely become belligerent (the income tax one that I talked to did).  By law any debtor or debt collector must send documentation of a debt upon request.

I just received a call from Summit Receivables. They called from a local number and told me to call them back at 844-498-6545.  Because of all of the complaints, I did not call them back.  I went online to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau an filed a complaint.  It took less than 10 minutes.  I then filed a complaint with the Attorney General online as well. It may not help but I asked that the resolution be that they contact me only through US Mail.  I also asked that they provide the original creditor and account number.  I doubt they will respond.

Since I filed bankruptcy and have no more debt, i was told to call back this number 844-498-6545 x671, said it was time sensitive matter and I needed to call back asap.  He also said he was going to call to verify my employment, now remember he called my job with my name mentioned on voicemail.  This is truly a SCAM...

Received a pre-recorded message from a male calling from a local phone number. The message did not included his name or the name of a company; neither did the message address me by name. The message stated that he had left me several prior voicemails and needed to receive a phone call back to get more information from me. There was a disclaimer at the end that the phone call was an attempt to collect a debt. Left the call back number 1.844.498.6545.

I finally blocked this number, because they call, saying my phone number is being audited for a debt. #1. When asked for whom they are attempting to reach, they say, "You" When you ask, "and I am?" They haven't a clue. I would think, if you owe someone money, they would know your name.
In addition, once you block them, they call from a "ghost" number, from the same area code as your phone, leeching vm, still not asking for you, just random message saying call them at the 844 number you blocked, and that you owe them money.
My phone is from an area code, in which I no longer live, not even the same time zone, so they call just before 10 at night, leaving vm. Not once have they asked for me.
