- sCAMMEDaLSO replies to Darla| 7 repliesTo Chicago they went, with their sad story as to why they couldn't pay. Just today, Mr. Barton wrote me saying he gets paid on the 27th and will pay his closing costs then. We shall see. I've already filed a complaint on BBB, with my timeshare, and I plan on speaking with military lawyers to get a suggestion of what should be done. I don't even care if I get back my $1172. I just want these horrible people to be brought to justice so this stops. They shouldn't get to take money from hard working people or worse, older people who are living off of their limited retirement.
- sCAMMEDaLSO replies to MD. KENT Owner| 6 repliesWell, Kent, you need to watch Mr. Dean a little more closely. He has apparently been doing things behind your back. Or, let me think, you're in on the scam also. Michael Dean, the Bartons, and the Holiday Property Group that they claim to be dealing with is a scam. They are taking money from innocent hard workers. I am active duty military and it is just wrong to use the fact that you were in the military as a way to make people trust you in order to take advantage of them. I assure you I am real and I will do what I can to bring them all to justice so this stops and no one else can be scammed like I was. I will take this as far as I need to go.
- sCAMMEDaLSO replies to sCAMMEDaLSO| 1 replyAnd if you are not in on this then you should be suing these people for using your company name for fraud.
- sCAMMEDaLSO replies to Scammed tooMy experience was with the Bartons. Only spoke to a sweet woman that said "God Bless" all the time. Never got to speak to a Mr. Barton but via email. Every time I had an excuse as to why the sale wasn't finished. Mr. Dean spoke to me like I owed him something, he was very rude and unprofessional, he gave me the run around and never gave me any answers on how to complete the sale, when or if it would be complete, or how I could get my money back that I sent to him originally. I don't know how they keep the same numbers and have never been stopped by anyone. But this fact upsets me so much I will do everything I can to bring them to justice, no matter if I get my money back or not.
- sCAMMEDaLSO| 6 repliesIf you have been a victim of Michael Dean and the Holiday Property Group, the Bartons, The Watsons, or whatever name they used on you, then you need to report him to your timeshare so they can compile a case against him. You also need to report him to the better business bureau, the attorney general in VA as well as your state, and the local police station. Write as much about him publicly as you can so that when people do a search all the bad info will come up so they won't be taken advantage of as we have been. If we can at least get out the word then he will be able to take advantage of less people. If enough people complain to the attorney general then maybe they will be pushed to take action. This man should not get to continue making a living off of lying and cheating and stealing from hard workers.
