Got "The Call" today.  Have had it from another number in December.  They are a scam.

I received this same message earlier in the week, coming from number 408-409-1324.  Clearly BS, talked about freezing accounts and suspending tax returns(???!!!), also requesting I call back to speak with a case manager at the 844 number.  Nice attempt, total crap.

I received the call from 408-409-1324 and was asked to call 844-880-5803.  Same voicemail as the others.

Received a call from this number saying they would suspend my tax returns from his my bank accounts. Have to have a complaint filed with my name and my social security number and they're threatening court actions.

I also received a call stating this was not a solicitation call and I needed to call immediately to discuss the fact they are in the process of seizing all my assets, bank accounts and tax returns. To call 844-880-5803 and ask to be transferred to a Case Manager

Same. I have to take threats from people or agencies who don't identify themselves with a grain of salt. If there was any validity to the threat this type of warning would not pass judicial scrutiny.

Fair Debt Collection Practices Act was definitely not followed by these scumsters. Just some junk debt collectors threatening people. They are trying to turn their penny purchases of debt into gold for themselves. Don't ever return their calls. If they are ever tracked down they can pay thousands, even millions for their violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Same message re: freezing of accounts, etc.  Called # back- said I had reached "The Offices of ECC- please wait to be connected..." ...  I did not listen further...
