They called our practice DID not leave a message, But I am glad I looked this number up because I can see that it is not on the up and up!

this number keeps calling me and i don't have a chase card. They even called on christmas and call multiple times a day. They never leave a message and don't talk when i answer

a foreign accented woman called that you could barely understand said she was from Chase Card Services i do have a credit card with them but when she told me that my account was past due i paid it last week and it isn't due until 1-5-10 so its not passed due she got mad and hung up on me. If this isn't a scam I don't really know what is.

I received a call from this number with a message which I deleted as I am working with a law firm to negotiate payments.  Beware, a week ater the phone calls started from this number, I got one from 407-771-0887 which came in as verizon wireless, but is also chase, if you check the number on google.

I read how this number might be a scam so I returned the phone call left on my message (@ 800-217-5964)and turned the tables on them.  I played a foreigner with heavy accent and limited English and totally frustrated the guy.  Tried to get my SS# to look up the account - said I don't have one.  He tells me that I was living in this country illegally and was getting a bit upset and hostile ... it was hilarious.  He finally hung up on me!  LOL!

Called several times a day, from early am to late pm. Very annoying. I picked up once and heard lots of voices on phones in the background. I hung up. Didn't answer again, didn't speak to anyone. I was dealing with a funeral at the time, and they were a pest. I have my name on the do not call list, so they shouldn't be doing this. Can anyone stop them?

Noticed 11 calls from this number over the past 3 weeks in caller ID log.  Always occurred when I was out of my office.  After reading the above notes, a call finally just came in and I was able to answer.   It went something like this:
(Perfect English):  "Please stand by for an important message"
A few seconds of someone coming on the line live and saying something very fast in Indian.
(Light Indian accent):  "May I please speak with Tracy" (not me)
Me:  "No one here by that name"
(Light Indian accent, sounding a bit dejected):  "Oh...OK....thank you" (click).

I fell for it...They tried using my card today. This number is FRAUD

This number keeps calling me and i just dont awnser because ive never seen it before and why bother exspaing to a person that does not did it. I am taking the stand and just ignoring the call. I beleive everyone should!!!!!!!!

I've received at least 10 call from this number in the last 3 day.  If I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  When I do answer they just hang up.  Weird.  Most people have been mentioning that it's CHASE.  I don't have a balance with a chase credit card, so don't know why it would be them.

They've called me 3-4 times a day for the past two or three days. I think this is some sort of scam, because I just turned 18 in October and I don't have a credit card or even a debit card with Chase. The few times I have answered (they call me during school a lot so I can't usually pick up the phone) it's a woman with a very thick accent. Don't give your information to them!

It is Chase.  It seemed valid. They knew all my info before I even give them.

Just got two calls from this number today, no messages.

This is a scam! Your bank will NEVER call you up and ask for your account information. I ended up filing a report with the Attorney General's office. If you get a call from this number and they claim to be Chase, do this too!

I called them back and told them I'd reported them. I told them that if they EVER call me again, I will pursue further action, which I might anyhow.

The woman meekly replied "Yes, Sir" and hung up.

I am also behind with Chase. They are calling my cell and my work. No message is left for me.

I received a call from this number,voice mail had a bunch of noise like someone working.  I deleted message. I don't have a chase account.

yes, its a real chase phone number appearing on your caller ID, but I think its being used by other people to fish for information.  Our account is current and there is no messages when I log into our online account.  The account is in my wifes name and a woman with a heavy foreign accent has been leaving messages for her talking about something urgent.  When I answered the phone today they hung up.

the caller id says Chase USA..with non speaking american person, i told this person i would pay when i could and it would be on my terms. i am behind on my payments..they wanted all kind of personal info (why i was behind on payments, was i having problems)..told them i don't give that info out to someone i don't know. i get anywhere from 6 to 9 calls a day..starting at 8:10am during the week and saturdays and sundays. i don't answer any calls from them...i have a judgement against another credit card company for the same thing and will take one out on Chase for harasment. i don't answer any phone numbers out of my area code. THIS WILL STOP!
