- they just hang up| 1 replyThis is really getting annoying
They call many times a day, I answer and they just hang up. Can't tell if its a machine or a human.- Caller: ID says Chase USA
- KevinThis is either not chase or they are idiots. No one in my family uses Chase, yet they called my cell phone, asked for my mother when they called my cell phone, and told her she is 4 months past due on her credit card payment for a credit card with a number not even remotely similar to hers. When she said she didn't have a card with that number, they asked for her s.s. number so they could get all her correct information.
Trust me, any true bank will know your information perfectly and won't completely screw up your credit card number.
Conclusion: tell them to [***] - KristinIf it is Chase, I have no idea why as my payment isn't due until 6/13. I am all paid up. WEIRD.
- Caller: Chase?
- ekoI've been receiving calls for days now.. at least 15 - 20 times a day. I finally called the number back after googling it. I do not have a chase card. I told them to take my number off their calling list now so she put my phone number in her system. She said it was assigned to some other person. I told her that wasn't me or anyone that lived here. So she took it off and I haven't received a call since. I think that is the only way to get them to stop.

- Sherie| 1 replySaid i was on my boyfriends account (I am not) and they have an important account inforamation. So we called chase they said it's probably a fishing call and not to give them any information.
- Caller: Chase
- Francois replies to SherieSeriously, it is Chase. I was way past due on my account and they are there to try collecting a payment. Stop being so damn paranoid! for those who say "well my account is 0" are you sure you didn't pay late? for those who say "well, I don't have a chase account" is it even remotely possible that they may have dialed a wrong number? Seriously, calm down! If in doubt call Chase like I did. They confirmed that this is a legitimate number.
- CA Attorney BrianI am a California licensed collection defense attorney. I represent debtors against collection agencies and creditors.
I am also receiving calls from (847) 488-3003. I receive scheduled telephone calls 3 times a day, weekdays and weekends, like clockwork: (1) morning call between 8:00am and 10:00am; (2) afternoon call between 12:00pm and 4:00pm; and an evening call between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. I answer the telephone and I hear nothing on the other end. Now I am receiving ring and hang ups. I cannot get a live person on the phone to inquire about the purpose of the call or the alleged debt (if it is a collection call).
I am finding numerous violations of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I am considering filing a lawsuit against the owner of (847) 488-3003 myself. I may consider forming a class action against the owner.

I've answered their calls about 5 times now and everytime someone will answer and ask for me by name, as soon as I tell them that it is me, they hang up. It's really dang annoying because they call me a good 7-10 times a day.
- LynneI keep getting calls from this phone number but when I answer it no one replies and its just quiet on the other end and I hang up. I get have had about 4 of these calls already this morning in a 3 hour period. Why if someone is calling from this numbe and I answer there is no one on the the other end??? Weird if you ask me!
- AnonymousI have had them call me every day for at least a month straight. They call at least every two hours and never leave a message.
- Call type: Debt collector
- KevinLeft a message for me. its chase bank. they had the wrong person though. They were looknig for some lady asking her to call back about a banking issue
- bobbiA number of calls - have a chase card but do not use it - since they are calling me on my cell which is known only to family I do not return the calls - sounds like a scam
- Denny3 phone calls in a matter of an hour. I do have accounts with chase, however their policy is to never contact you for information, so it was a no brainer to hang up on this obvious scam.
- FlboilerI don't believe it is legit. Although do have Chase, I owe them nothing. They call me repeatedly on a number that I never gave them. SCAM.
- Caller: JP Morgan Chase?

- Amy SacchettiCalled 5 times in one day and there is no message left.
I don't answer calls when I do not know who they are from.
This is not good business.- Caller: Chase
- Helgerquest replies to anonymous| 1 replyIt is Chase. If I pick up the phone it is always a person from India. They learn how to pronounce names through a computer (I think) because they pronouce it with a soft "G" and pronounce the second part without consideration for the "U". I know that French and Spanish have similar pronuniations, but I'm Scandinavian. It's kind of insulting. To top that off, NO ONE is supposed to have my cell phone number and they have begun calling that number. How can I block them? I spoke to them last week and said that I know I am overdue, but I don't have any money. Hard to pay with empty pockets. They said that I woud be charged a late fee and I told them that they'd have to do that because I HAVE NO MONEY! These people call several times a day and I have a lot more to do than running back and forth to a phone when I am trying to work.
Time Warner Cable screwed up an over-the-phone bill payment of $90 one time so I am hesitant to pay bills over the phone. $90 is a lot of money to lose when you don't have much to begin with... and then to have them lose it! Oh, and the confirmation number means nothing. - SunnyI keep getting phone calls throughout the day from this number claiming to be my credit card collections office. Not only is this harrassing (Especially when I have told them that I DO NOT have any money, they don't listen. They threaten with a late fee which I respond that "I guess I'll have to pay it as I really don't have any money." Not to mention, they are now calling my cell phone which no one is supposed to have that number.
I will not pay bills over the phone because I don't trust them. My cable company once lost a $90 bill payment when we paid over the phone.
How can I stop them or block them from my phones? One call is more than sufficient to remind me that I am late on a payment (which usually I already know).
After reading other poeople's comments about phone calls from this number, I am not so sure who is calling me and why. I will enter the info as I understand it from my own experience.- Caller: Chase Credit Card
- Call type: Debt collector
- Dude replies to sunshine| 1 replyWhenever I get a phone call where I say Hello and no one responds right away, I hang up. Usually this is a sign of a telemarketer or debt collector. And you will hear absolutely nothing on the other end while waiting for their response because it is a computer and it has to click on before responding to your voice. This number did this once, but mostly I get a person from India. One Indian debt collector was very nice and talked me down from a Panic attack. LOL
- nosurrender replies to indebtedI have another bill collector that only calls my home phone. This one is always a computer. I unplug the phone from the jack when these calls start up, but if I were to plug my phone back in the calls would start right back up.
