- colkniHave received several calls from this number. Today, I called the number back. got a recording that said, "Thanks for returning our call. Please enter your 16- digit card number". NO WAY did I give this computer-generated machine a credit card number.

- ChelseaDO NOT ENTER YOUR SIXTEEN DIGIT CARD NUMBER WHEN YOU CALL THEM BACK!
I recieved two calls from 847-488-3003 on October 10 2010. When I answered my phone no one said anything and the call ended. I proceeded to call the number back and it said "Thank you for calling us back, this is Chase Card Services please enter your 16 digit card number" So hearing that I proceeded to call the number on the back of my Chase credit card then was transferred to the Fraud department. They looked up my account and said that they did not try and call me, and to not give out my personal information to this number. They said they would notate the account and took the phone number to follow up.
THIS NUMBER IS FRAUD. DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION. REPORT IT TO THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY! - wrong no.You are calling the wrong number.
- chasein owasso replies to It's MeI have been with them for a while I missed 1 month and they charged me 25.00 late fee.I called them and now they are calling me on my cell . I have already made the payment. I plan on paying them off asap. Oh they charged me more interest . Other than that i am ok with them.
- Nate replies to It's MeTHAT IS THE SAME THING THEY DID TO ME.
I CALLED TO REQUEST MY INTREST RATE BE REDUCED AS I HAVE PAID MORE THEN THE MIM,.ON TIME.
THEIR REPLY WAS NOT AT THIS TIME. - NATE replies to anonymousYOU ARE WRONG, MY ACCOUNT IS CURRENT !!
- bob o'louie replies to Harvestthe way i like to annoy them is when they ask for information like a card number, i say fine, just let me get my wallet from the other room and then set the phone down and see how much patience they have before they hang up
- princesskevinI think it's legit. I got four calls in one afternoon. I didn't answer except for the last time and they told me my payment was late, which it was. And my caller was from India. There didn't seem to be anything fishy, though, other than the incessant calling.

- meeeeeeI got this call this am. No message left. I didn't answer. But I googled the number and got ur posts. It has to be a scam because I do not have an account with Chase...

- Get a clue replies to AnonymousFBI has better things to do than deal with "harassing" phone calls. Try your local police precinct.
- Get a clue replies to frankCredit card companies outsource their collections to foreign countries now. That Discover Card commercial with the Russian guy named Peggy who can't replace Lou Holtz's lost credit card is pretty much spot on. Their grasp of the English language is tenuous at best and they can never answer even the simplest of questions. If you say anything besides "OK, I will make a payment now" they have no idea how to answer. I asked one of them a question once and the guy just would not deviate from whatever script he had in front of him. And none of the responses were for the question I had. It was surreal, to say the least.
9 times out of 10 when you call the number on the back of your card, they have no clue what you are talking about because collections are not handled by them. - Get a clue replies to mayIt's not a scam. Credit card companies outsource their collections. The only problem is that (a) they usually outsource them to foreign countries, and (b) the reps are usually dumb as a rock. You are better off just calling the 800 number on the back of your card, although now they are beginning to outsource even simple customer service.
Good luck getting someone without an accent to help you. - AnonymousI have been getting these calls for weeks.I knew that I was behind on my credit card payments because I became financially strapped. When my situation improved,I called Chase directly and set up a payment plan.I still got calls from this number!I called it back because it was harrassment at this point.Eight to ten calls a day!I spoke to someone in India that could not understand what I was saying.I explained the situation multiple times and told her that my name, number, and other personal information must be removed from their calling lists because I am paying back what is owed. She asked for the last 4 of my social and looked up my account. She knew about the payment plan and my economic hardship which I discussed with someone last week. She knew other personal details as well. She also said that she could stop the calls for 30 days unless I put something in writing. She reluctantly gave me the address which is Correspondence Department PO Box 15298 Wilmington DE 19850-5298.The fax # is 888-643-9628.I hope this helps someone else.

- TammyCalled and asked for my husband, wouldn't tell me who it was so I googled the number and found out. Not sure why they are calling. I logged into my account and it's not past due. No payment due for another week and I'm enrolled in auto-pay.
- TammyOh and if you think you don't have any accounts with Chase, check again. They seem to be taking over a lot of other card companies. I had a Providian card also and it was set up for auto-pay. Chase took over but my auto-pay didn't transfer with it so I didn't even KNOW I had Chase until they called telling me the payment was late. (before I even got the new card btw. New cards didn't come for almost 6 weeks)
- Mike replies to LTDThis is what the telezapper basically does. It emits that tone that tells you there is no number there. This does not work on some systems though, but most of them
- K LairdI received a call at 8:15 AM 11/27 asking for Averal Hariman. The caller was not able to clearly repeat the number SHE was trying to call and it was not mine.
