have called my cell multiple times; I have no known connection with anyone at this number; I have Tracfone and responding to the call costs me minutes.  Who are these guys, and what are they selling??

*update* I called the number back out of curiousity, and I got someone on the phone and I told them to stop calling me because and he said "So you are no interested in the University". I am still not sure who it is though.

This is crazy, I googled the area code to find out what city it was and found this blog for the same number that has been calling me...I thought It was a crazy chick. This number calls 5-6 times a day! I have no idea how they got my number.

I call and at first they said they were aidt then then they said they were devry the second time. I think it's a scam

call them.... ultimately spamming their lines. leaving messages of tv, music, not anything with your voice. but yeah, they will get the idea. whatever it is they get out of it wont be the least bit worth it once their lines crash. yay

If you have ever requested information on-line about taking university courses over the internet this may be why you are receiving these calls.  You will have had to have given them the number though.
If you provide your cell number on any form or query as a contact number you will eventually find it in the hands of telemarketers

this number calls me almost everyday. usually in the morning around 8. i have no clue who it is. i have a cingular go phone. this is weird to find this website. i tried calling it back and it put me on the whole *elevator music* thing. its driving me crazy.

I just got a call on my cellfrom that #, too.  I have no idea where they got my #.

I received MULTIPLE phone calls from this number and some others. And it's been more than 2 weeks. I think they're calling from one of the on-line universities. I accidentaly clicked on "University of Phoenix" ad that appeard on my hotmail page, and since then, at least 6 different numbers kept calling me. One of them even left a message. So I called back and left a pretty nasty message to stop calling. That particular number never called. But do I have to do that to all of them with MY expense? I wonder how they got my number. All I could think of was they accessed to my hotmail account to retrieve it? Would that be legal?

This number keeps calling my house several times a day.  Something should be done.  I am on a DO NOT CALL list and the government should fine them.

I have received multiple calls from this number and one other. Yes they represent universities...I have told them not to call me but they continue. Why do they not get the message!!!! Do not call!!!!

It is probably AIU College. They are trying to sell you on getting degrees online. It's a liget business but they sure do want you to pay out the yang yang to get a BA.

This number calls my phone non-stop and I'm so sick of it, I wish it would stop. I'm sure it is an online school, but can they not take no for an answer?

they always call me and it rings once and they hang up. i cant even answer it! how irritating

I get over 50 calls a month from all sorts of scammers and or telemarketers. About 6 months ago I bought a 'Privacy Call Center' from 'http://www.digitone.com/' and it's incredible. You can list all your friends and loved ones numbers and even a specific area code and prefix's to allow, and they will ring and pass thru unobstructed. All others will be asked to enter an extension number of the party they want to speak to, and then will be disconnected. It catches every single unwanted call. I've had months of peace and quiet. Our number ends in a 0001 and it's obviously a big hit with these bottom feeders. I don't work for digitone and this is strictly an unsolicited testimonial. Good luck!
