it constantly calls me all day long. at least 10 times a day. even one call right after the other.... just make it stop

i just called them on skype and requested to be taken off their list. When I told the guy my name he said, "Oh yeah, I remember your name from my list." Strange. But he said I would be de-listed, so we'll see.

Are you still getting these calls?  I just started getting them a few days ago.  The only thing different that happened with me is I was laid off from work and applied for unemployment.  Seems ever since then I started receiving these calls at least twice a day.

Here is a thought, if you don't know the number on your caller ID, lets say we do something fun like ignore it! WOW...And you are all our bright future, really this scares the crap out of me! Get a hobbie!!!

They are not a legit school. Most major companies will not give tuition reimbursement for that school. They do not have a real bachlors

Hey, guys.  I've started getting calls from this number as well after applying for more information about courses at the University of Phoenix.  It appears as though they may sell your number or are a partner company in some way.  My advice would be to just get a hold of them and wish to removed from their list as others in this thread have stated.

made the mistake of inquiring online about AIU (online Univ.)for my daughter, took an act of congress to get them to stop calling, had to get rude with them. They told me that because the inquiry was in the name of my daughter, they would not cease to call until she authorized it. Can you believe the audacity of these people? Needless to say I had to get short with them but they have not called back since!
Tip- if you use YouMail it will give you business names where a cell phone will only give you numbers (not to mention it has awesome voice messages)

This unsolicited call to my home, came from 847-783-8966 at 158PM, August 3rd 2008 and the caller ID showed: AIU ONLINE. These folks did not even leave a voice mail message.  I did a Yahoo search of AIU ONLINE and found it is the American InterContinental University at Hoffman Estates, IL., but this call comes from Dundee, Il.  These lowlifes make unsolicited calls around the U.S. to try and get people to sign up for their bogus online University. No doubt the callers get a commission for every person the sign up with.  Ignore these calls. Chew butt if they keep calling back.  There are FTC Rules for these kind of people and they can be fined.

There are telemarketers and then there are telemarketers who disrupt your Sunday. I am not sure how I am going to go about it yet, but I am going to do everything in my power to assure that these jerks discontinue this practice. They are indeed from an online college of some sort. Once I can identify which college it is I will post the contact information for the administrators office. They are like pests that you cant spray.

This number is for DeVry University.  I went online and requested a brochure and put in my information and received a phone call about 10 minutes later from this number.

i gave information online to a few online universities and ever since then have been getting called by this number and many others at least five times a day.

They are a online educational course company.

They only offer on line educ courses. If you are NOT interested, you can call them and be removed quite easily from their call list.

When in doubt, call the number back and when they answer, HANG UP if it is someone you wish not to talk to, if it is someone "safe" such as this, ask to be removed from their list.

American Inter Continental Admissions office. I recently requested information from their advisors.

I've been called 5 times in one day and everytime they ask for someone that they can't even say the name. I didn't sign up for any online class or anything so someone figured they would use my cell phone number. Sucks that I have an easy number that any 5 year old could dial. It is a school and I asked them to stop calling but they haven't.
