does anyone know how to get these calls to stop.

These people has been calling me numerous of time daily even on Sundays when I am at Church I just want them to stop calling me

For the past two weeks ive been getting a call from this number mayber five times a day. they wont stop calling my phone at all. i answered the phone a couple times and no one says anything.

These people call me at least 3 times a day, and the dont really get the no answer.  They have been calling me for the past 2 months like this.

Next time this number calls me I'm gonna put some porno or animal noises on and leave the phone by it. Maybe then they'll get the point. Just mess with 'em a bit until they stop bothering.

i really want them to stop calling me they call my CELL phone Saturdays and Sundays witch they aren't suppose to do by FCC rules if i get one more call i will make sure this company has a lawsuit toward them and i will be pressing harassment charges against them

You need to say you are the person they are looking for. Then tell them to take you off the list. Hanging up on them and just not picking up will not help. Tell them to take you off "thier" list and put you on the do not call list.  They told me that since I was not the person seeking the information(my sister requested info) they could not remove me due to some regulations. So the next time they called I said I was who they were looking for and asked them to remove me.

They have been calling me also.

Every day like clock work they call my Office number especially during my peek hours,  the is getting annoying.  I called this number its from A.I.U online They were actually very nice when i asked them to take our number off the calling list.  "someone might have put your number on and app. or online inquiry about online Schooling."

Has call twice in a row for two days. I do not know who is
calling.

It is a university calling from a reply made via the internet about coursework or a degree.

Calling all the time, keep silent when I answer. Called them back and they are looking for Bob WOnder..... I wonder if he is using several phone (sure!) numbers as contacts... Asked to take the my phone out of the list. Then I RESEARCHED THEM IN THE INTERNET AND found their  web page and a toll free number... 888-379-5888.  Call to that one because the 1-847 are phonies....

I too am getting like 15-20 calls a day from online universities. it sucks you just want to get information about their programs to read but no they have to call you over and over again. I am to the point that i just hit ignore when their number comes up.

Couldn't take anymore and started picking up and giving them a hard time.  (If you wait long enough, someone will respond and start talking.)  It's always either Colorado Technical University Online or American Intercontinental University Online.  I asked why they were calling me -- they said I'd requested soemone call me with information about their programs (NOT) or I filled out some sort of survey (NOT).  Told them I was reporting them to the FTC and that they should stop calling me.  The calls continue.

Did some Google research.  These are both outfits owned by the same for-profit education company, Career Education Corp (NASDAQ: CECO.O).  This company has been the subject of various SEC, DOJ and state Attorney General investigations for a laundry list of shyster activities over the years (See New York Times article from July 24, 2005, "The School That Skipped Ethics Class").  They are located in Hoffman Estates, IL -- 847 area code.  The President and CEO is Gary McCullough and, according to their SEC filings, he makes $3.5 million a year.  Their General Counsel is Jeffrey Ayers.  I say we should ALL start calling and leaving messages for Messrs. McCullough and Ayers on thier corporate office number, 847-781-3600.  I intend to just thank them for the pleasure their company has provided me and my family with the over 400 calls we have received from their fine institutions of higher learning.  After awhile, maybe I'll just start leaving no message at all -- just like they do.  If everyone does it just once, it will totally tie up their corporate lines and their business -- which would be a wonderful thing.

They are calling me on Sundays and early mornings.  Will not leave a voicemail message and need to take me off their caller list.  If I wanted to attend their school before- I definently do not now!
