These people have been calling me the last few days,Finally I got a human on the line and told them to remove me from the list.Now I get calls from "Unknown Name".No voice just a dead call.

I have received several phone calls from 847-783-8966.  I answer and say hello, then they hang up.  It is very irritating.  How can I stop receiving these calls?

They have called from 2 different numbers at least 6 times.  It's really annoying ecspecially when I told them to quite...I would contact THEM when I was ready to go back to school. I would just turn off the ringer, but my small children are with their father out of state...they are more important than the schools.   I don't answer phone numbers I do not know. If they need to speak with me they can leave a voice mail :) Good Luck everyone.

I do not want to be contacted by AIU again. They call all the time, and  i did not register to attend there or to get more information.

I called these people back.  Shannon answered the phone.  This is American University.  I had filled out some "job application" material online and got my arm twisted in agreeing to share info.  I did not realize that it was just another marketing tool for online universities to "project" how much more money you can earn with a degree.

Their system is an "auto dailer".  You have to ask them to stop.  It is VERY annoying.  If you get calls, get the info and report it for others.  Now, you know.

I get calls from them too. I clicked a box saying i wanted more information regarding online courses. Talked to someone from Career Institutes on the phone and he advised me of 3 colleges. About 5 minutes after I got off the phone with him, I started getting calls from this number and it is AIU.  They have been told by at least 2 different people in this house that we are not interested and to please stop calling.  They still call but it went from 6-10 times a day to 2-3.  Most times I don't answer at all.

These ppl are crazy!!! Called me claiming that i was some sort criminal and that they were sending my file to the FBI !!!!

This for American Intercontinental University (AIU) and they and several others got my name and information from Jobs.com as I was looking for another job and I had opted not to be contacted by anyone and they and the others still did.

I have spoken with them for two days and each time I have asked them as well as the other ones to stop calling me and take me off the call list. They are the only ones that have not done it, they just laugh and hang up on you.

I have even warned them that I would contact the FCC and they said for me to call whoever I liked.

They call me, they don't answer when I say hello.. finally I just saved the number as "don't answer".. they call daily  to every other day...

I keep getting numerous calls everyday from this number, when I answer noone ever responds, so I have no idea who it is.

This number is from American University, they just left me a voicemail.

I think you are right. I requested info from another college early this morning about 2am PST. and now the sales calls start. ugh.

They called and called and just hung up!! SO ANNOYING and it seems shady and tricky to me!

It's American Intercontinental University,Sanford-Brown Colleges, Sanford-Brown Institute, and Colorado Technical Universities.  They're part of Career Education Corporation.  Read the Wikipedia page on them.  I only wish I had read it before signing up with Colorado Technical University.  They took me for around $80,000 in student loans;  I was unaware of their actual tuition rates.  STAY AWAY!

This company has called my cell phone no less than 10 times a day when I'm at work asking for someone who doesnt exist. I am sick and tired of it and I'd like to file a law suit and sue the [***] out of them.
