she wants to know how much I owe on credit cards and how much I pay in interest. I cussed her out and it was great....they call me a few times a week. I hate them...the scumbags.

got the same call and they hung up on my answering machine. These calls need to be stopped. What do you pay for a block for anyway.

Just google "Heather from Account services" and you'll find all sorts of forums complaining about this scam from different numbers. Many many people have complained to the FTC to no avail.  I'd suggest everyone who gets these calls to first file online with the FTC, then complain to your member of Congress's office.  Government agencies like the FTC tend to move a complaint up the list when they get a call from Congressional staff.

We just got one of these calls.  There was a recorded voice saying that we were going into "final notice" on one of our credit cards.  So my husband pressed #1 to get an operator.  Before telling the woman any information he asked her which card this was about and she IMMEDIATELY hung up. Someone needs to do something about these people fishing for information.  When we heard "final notice" of course we got a bit worried...but not enough to give out our personal info to one of these criminals.

Heather is still at it.  Same message on my answering machine for 1/4/08 at 12:36pm.

Same as all others except after pressing 2 we get a message saying we have been removed. That was yesterday! Now today we recieved the exact same call but from Unknown Name with the number 4-208-842-4244. I think I would suggest not pressing any numbers. Just let junk mail when you reply it means they got a live number. Then ALL their buddies call the number till you give in and blurb some info.

I too received a call from this phone number. My recorder picked it up and so I only got 1/2 of a recording, "something about an interest rate, blah, blah, blah, press 1, or press 2, blah, blah, blah....."  I tried calling it, it has been disconnected.  I looked it up on the internet, I found you-all on this site.  Thank you all for confirming my suspicions, it is a "junk call".

I called the FLA consumer number and they reported they could put me on FL "do not call list for a fee" but could also give me the national "do not call" list for free at888-383-1222. She reported that the company calling is a debt considation company and the only way to file a complaint is to get their name which I tried to do and they would not provide their name just saying they represented all Visa/Mastercards.

I have received calls from this number multiple times. I pressed 2 to be removed and got a busy signal. I called the number back immediately, but it was "disconnected: each time. I pressed 1 a couple of times and got Trevor and others each one hung up when I asked for company name or why they were calling me since I am on the "do not call registry". Also they have called me at odd hours.

"Heather from Account Services" Wants to lower my credit card rates, i don't have one, thank you. This should end this right? NO!!! They call every day even though i'm on the do not call list. The F.C.C. WANTS TO CHARGE ME TO FILE A COMPLAINT against them! The F.B.I. TELLS ME THEY DO NOT HANDLE INTERSTATE WIRE LINE FRAUD! The phone company says " we are sorry there is nothing we can do! Is there a police or goverment agency who cares about consumer fraud? My solution, will everyone receiving these calls please simply call the F.B.I., F.C.C., A.T.T., And there local sherrifs office every day they get a call. Sure you will get the same answer, we can't help you, but just maybe they will get as tired of our calls as we are of HEATHER AT ACCOUNT SERVICES Calling us!! Then maybe someone will shut them down before they rob any one else.
   P.S. Why would A.T.T. want to stop them they are getting paid by them, why would the F.C.C. WANT TO STOP THEM, they collect taxes on there calls to. DO YOUR PART MAKE SOME CALLS OF YOUR OWN, right the numbers down by the phone and complain PLEASE!!!!!

Next time they call, will suggest lewd sexual encounter with Heather.  Maybe she will report it and we can know who to sue.

Call came in at 11:15am. It was a recording with the name "Heather" trying to offer a lower rate on credit cards. (I don't have any credit cards or acounts) Most likly a phishing scam if someone is crazy enough to give a card number they will most likly hang up on you and begin making charges on your card acounts. since they can not be questioned of "who they are" from the other posts it seems they hang up when questioned. I hung up the phone right away and it was hard to disconect the recorded message. I hung up and even after 1 min the recording was still playing. I do not have a machine on or call waiting it just hangs on the line for awhile and finaly it disconected so hang up longer and make sure if you have 3 way calling or call waiting that you have compleatly disconected before you make any calls you may accedintly connect them to your call as 3 people! as they can get info if they are on the call with you and you are unaware. This almost happened to me I called someone right after and as I was saying hello I heard a sneeze and it was not my friend it was a scammer still on the line conected to my private call. they can even put the call on mute so you have to make sure they are not on the line with your call listeing. if they are on mute you can not hear them till they hang up a click so they can just stay on and listine to whatever you are saying and it could be personal and they then get what ever info they can use. it is scary what people can do with the phone system. just beware and watch yourself. hang up right away give pleanty of time for the line to clear of them. I used #69 to get this number. 850-271-8240.

I have recieved this same call several times.  several times from unknown, once from a number in London, England. (which led me to this site) and now from FL.  I renewed my do not call two months ago, and also unlisted.

I have received calls from "Heather" several times over several months.   I'm not about to return their calls.....and know that their "product" is nothing I want.  How do we stop calls from such companies or whomever continues to call and leave these recorded messages?

Called with recorded message. Pressed 1 becuase to "lower my interest rates" because I already read about them on this site. Fed them some [***] info trying to find out more about them. They eventually hung up on me. OBVIOUS phishing. Doesn't get anymore OBVIOUS. Do not answer except to [***] with them. How can we all know this is scamming filthy scum, and no one can figure out how to track them down. If its still going on, it means they are making money of some poor [***].

Received an automated call from this number.  It did not give any company name, just "Credit card company".  I did not stay on the line for any other info.  It annoys me because I AM on the National Do Not Call Registry, and if they weren't actually calling from a company I do business with, they should be fined!!!
