- dkimmel replies to Joe BI should not need to spend money to stop annoying solicitation calls. Simply asking to be removed from their call list should be enough to stop further calls.
Don't defend these rude and unethical companies by suggesting it is my fault. - JimmyMy wife answered a call yesterday from this number @2:21 PM CST, claiming to be from I-Tech, that our computer was distributing dangerous viruses, and that they could have our internet service disconnected in 24 hours if she didn't let them connect to our computer to fix the problem. Of course they couldn't tell her who our internet service provider was, and got real nasty when she told them that their call was just a scam. Amazingly (with me on her other ear on the cell phone), she
dialed the number back and was talking to a "supervisor"! Well, here it is, T-minus 1 hour 30 minutes before we're off the net;
I tempted to call them back after our deadline has passed and let them know what I think of their "threats"...- Caller: 855-210-3300

- Smarter than you! replies to DickWow, your wife must be so proud of you! You "trained" her how to read the caller ID! You must be short, you have a pompous little man attitude. You are no better than these scammers.
- TomGot a call from this number today. Caller ID said "Cambodia". Needless to say I did not answer.
- Kathy replies to MarkI just received this same scam that my computer was infecting other computers and that Monday it would be too late to repair this. He had to India accent and said his name was Sampson and for me to call him back as soon as possible and it really takes 6 to 7 minutes for him to walk me through the process to repair my computer and to delete the virus. Total scam
- hljReceived a call this morning 0930 cst., on Feb 23, 2015, from 855-210-3300. This number is familiar to me. Probably same old clowns that claim they are from Microsoft that want to inform me that something is wrong with my computer. However, when I answered no one said anything. The silence probably stems from the cursing out that they received from me last week. These guys are stupid and annoying.

- Jane in CTThis person (a man with an Indian accent) called us last night and spoke to my daughter, he gave my husband's name and said my husband had called him "about a computer." She told him that my husband wasn't at home yet but that he could call back today, and then around 10:30 this morning the phone rang and it was from this same number. Again, the person asked for my husband by name and I told him he was at work and to contact him there (I still wasn't sure whether this was a legit call). Then the person said he "was calling about the Windows 7 computer" because "it was sending out junk files" and "seemed to be infected with a virus." It was at that point I realized it was a scammer and I hung up, the person called back 3 times but never left a message, and then gave up. Good grief!
- AnonComputer scam. Don't fall for it!
Indian computer guy wants to gain access to your computer...don't let him. Either hang up or if you are a computer geek, you can string him along and yank his chain.- Call type: Telemarketer

- VJMReceived the same recurring phone call from 855-210-3300 claiming there is a "serious problem" with your Microsoft computer. Most of the calls are from Indian or Pakistani sounding men, but the one today was a woman. I tell them we have received these calls numerous times, know this is a scam, and are very tired of it. That's when the men go into their explicit sexually obscene language which results in my hanging up. This is very stressful, disturbing, and needs to stop! Why can't something be done to stop these people?
- Caller: They say they represent Microsoft

- CandyI told the clown from India to put me on the no call list and he told me he couldn't because he wasn't selling anything. I told him bull and by law he had to. He wanted to fix a problem with my home computer but couldn't figure out what to say when I told him we didn't have computers at home only at work. Scam!

- GailThe man was very abrasive, when I told him I was on the do not call list, he said he wasn't selling something, that my microsoft system was sending alerts. I don't have a microsoft system. I said that I wasn't interested. He kept on, I yelled and hung up. He called back. I asked to speak with a supervisor, he said no. He gave me his manager's name "Felix Hernando" but said he wouldn't be in until monday. I then hung up again.

- DJJust received 4 calls from this number. He would not take the hint that I did not want to talk to him. I had to get rude on the 4th call, not that I was any too warm and fuzzy on the earlier calls.

- DennisReceived the same call here in Illinois. He said he saw alerts and wanted to help me, I asked how it was possible he track my computer down to my phone number, no response. I told him to drop my name and number from his list, I was on Do Not Call List. I hung up. He immediately called me back again, explaining he had nothing to sell me, but to go to my computer and he would show me the problem. I said no way, don't call me again and hung up.
